They murder ranch hands for just leaving the ranch. I mean, it's just ridiculous on its face.
It's probably the most ridiculous murder rate since Cabot Cove.
Doesn't stop me from watching it, but the suspension of disbelief takes some effort.
It's truly funny to see how many nitpickers there are on this thread about the believability of a TV show.

It's just how he plays the character. If you watch any of the extras where they interview him he sounds like he always has.

One hell of a TV episode folks
That was a sad/feel good episode. I really enjoyed it and Ryan Bingham with the music just further helped to set the mood.
This show has done an excellent job of using music since the very first episode when the convoy was driving down the road to retrieve the cattle.

Really good finale. Though Casey's wife having nothing to do with the climax means her character was completely ruined this year. Audience is left feeling largely annoyed and apathetic to her.
Oh well, didn't hurt the finale. Heavy, action packed, and delivered a payoff. Well done.

As for Monica being wasted this season, it all came down to her "kill them" attitude. It was showing that despite her being torn between loving Kayce and the desire to be good and true to her roots, she is more like them than not.
