Per a request in the other thread, figured it's time we get this one going...

Biggest shocker for me was the first post credit scene. Cannot believe they brought J.K. Simmons back. Don't get me wrong, I love it, I just never thought they'd actually do it...

As for everything else, Mysterio played out about how I figured he would (Marvel committing to the multi-verse in this fashion never felt quite right), but I didn't anticipate how elaborate the whole thing would be. Really enjoyed the take on him.

Overall, I don't think I liked it quite as much as Homecoming, but it was still damn good and I had a blast.

Much better than Homecoming. Maybe top 5 MCU. So much fun.

JJ Jameson got massive applause.

I wish Jake Gyllenhaal played a bigger presence in the MCU than being killed off at the end like that. Talos and Soren disguising as Fury and Hill was a great twist. The movie reminds me of the first Iron Man movie.

I'll come out and say I was wrong about Zendaya. I really like how they've done her version of MJ. Totally onboarding with her moving forward.

I also liked this one much better than Homecoming. I feel like I need another Spiderman immediately after that post credit scene

I took that to mean that everybody believes that Captain America is dead. Definitely wouldn't have come out and revealed himself now that he's the older version. This also allows Sam Wilson to really take up the mantle.

The second post scene was a huge bombshell to me.

This information changes so much. So many questions.

How long has this been going on? The 90's? Have the Skrulls and SHIELD been working together this whole time? Did HYDRA know about this? How often have the Skrulls been taking Fury's place? Was Fury really a Skrulls in past movies?

And what are they building up in space????

My head is spinning.....

Damn it, I heard the second end credit scene was "funny" and "inconsequential" so I left after the first one because I had a dinner to get to. What happened?

I feel like it could go a few ways... cause FFH starts pretty close after endgame... so I don't feel like cap is dead... but the general public prolly wouldn't recognize him as an old man, and he just wanted to finish his life .. a skrull could have just taken up the cap roll and no one would ever know... or cap really did die of being an old man

Rookie mistake.

Basically, Nick Fury and Maria Hill were never in the movie. They were the shapeshifting aliens from Captain Marvel.

That PowerPoint in memoriam was such a genius way to start the movie.

How would YOU of all people not watch the second end credits?!? That was a pretty big mind blown moment, like marvel just went there moment and now you second guess everything... tho I did feel like Fury was just a tab bit off this whole movie, so I guess that explains that

Oh, and Beck revealing to the world Spider-Man's identity makes me strongly think the next movie will feature The Sinister Six.

Parker has a target on this head and I bet there are some people who will be coming for him (we've already met Vulture and we saw Scorpion in prison). Throw in a few more B-level villains (save the big names like Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin for their own movies) and you've got a movie.

I, for one, would love to see Keaton again.

Loved the last frame of a candle with the "Getty Images" watermark on it.

When info about the movie first came out I thought it was dumb that a group of students would go on a field trip to Europe.... well the school I work for has a group of student in Europe right now on a summer field trip basically doing the same thing, with some teachers, so I guess that wasn't that out of the ordinary

When Peter is building his suit, there is a few versions, and the one of the very far left looked like iron man, and was definitely not the iron spider suit.

Also the scene thy ends with Peter getting hit by the train... that was freaking awesome!!! It was like when Rey sees herself in the dark side mirror in last Jedi, except on STEROIDS!! That was probably my favorite scene.

And when the band kids snapped back in on the basketball court and got hit with the ball was hilarious

And to have JK Simmons back as JJ Jameson!!! YES!!! He was made for that role, and I'm so glad he got to reprised his role!

One of the suits was the new one made for last year's PS4 game. That same one also made an appearance in Into the Spider-Verse.

[edit]Apparently, both the Stealth Suit and the Upgraded Suit (the one he makes for the final battle) are now available to be worn in the PS4 game.

"The Blip."

When they said that, I thought that it was the teen slang for The Snap.

Nope. It's really referred to by everyone as "The Blip." And those who were dusted 'blipped.'

Hilarious.

Ha, like I said, I had a dinner I was late for and because someone said the second end credit scene didn't matter, I skipped it.

Took my daughter to the 12:10am showing last night (she has a major crush on Holland, lol). This was a really fun film, lots of humor and a really good story. IMHO, one of the best MCU stand alone films with alot of heart.

Two "end credit" scenes with the first being pretty jaw dropping to push into the next installment. Other one is just for laughs.

This is my same question. Guess Marvel using the same trailer tactics from IW and Endgame to keep us in our toes and to throw us off the path.

This was great insight to the second credit scene. Also, great find about fury and the bread scene. I had never saw that Easter egg found before.

Good stuff. Glad to see they're positioning Peter as the next ringleader. Kind of surprised by that since Sony owns the rights.

Loved that scene as well. So good, and yeah, great comparison, re: TLJ. That scene and the climactic "Peter Tingle" scene where he unleashes hell in the hologram were so damn good. Such clever execution, too, to tie the hologram tech to that moment.

When "I Will Always Love You" started playing over the Marvel logo, I had NO IDEA where they were going with it, but once it became clear, I couldn't stop cracking up. So perfect.
