It's like going to a movie and transcribing an actor's lines from the movie ... then going back and writing an article attributing the quote to the actual actor playing a character in the movie ... and the author pretending that its real.

I don't agree with his stance on abortion or this comment - "If you have a d***, you shouldn't say anything about abortion" - but I thought this was pretty funny.
I thought his final comment of "if I'm wrong, we're all wrong," was haunting and more of his intention with that joke than anything else he said.
I enjoyed it greatly. Even though I'm not Obama's biggest fan, his Obama story in the epilogue was hilarious and very cool.

great point, a lot of what is so funny about Dave is HOW he says something.
I liked comparing his life to a pool - the way he said "it's a pool" totally make the joke, never looks as good on paper as these comedians can deliver it.

From someone that does comedy, this is not accurate. Many of the stories are real, but heightend and exaggerated to get a laugh.
Dave was quite entertaining one of the best stand up acts since Bill Burr's "Let it Go" and Mike Birbiglia's "My girlfriend's boyfriend". Like his show he hits everyone and sets up the crowd like a pro.

Without a doubt. I'm generally a fan of standup yet this was the first Netflix comedy special I made an effort to see within the first week or so of its release. I have probably only watched 2 or 3 others in their entirety on NF.

I finally got around to seeing this. He doesn't hold back at all, and it was much more of the old Dave in style. I'm a fan of the special for sure.
Comedians and the woke crowd don't see eye to eye at all on limits, which given the liberal infestation of everything Hollywood, watching the reaction is also entertainment (to me).
