So, a discussion thread on an online forum about a fantastic comedy special focused partially on political undercurrents and events shouldn't talk about politics?

Should we all have just posted a thumbs up and say we enjoyed it, spouting random punchlines? Do you get pleasure reading five pages of people agreeing with each other but not actually discussing any of the content?

I don't remember a single post saying the show was bad. Just discussing a few of the more controversial jokes and their content.

But we'll all be sure to just post a thumbs up and our rating and not discuss the actual jokes next time since this is the Entertainment board.

Politics and entertainment can and do overlap, especially in a comedy special poking fun at politics. I can both connect and disconnect them, but don't get bent out of shape when someone else.. gulp.. posts their thoughts on a message board. THE HORROR.

I'm conservative and have lots of liberal friends. They all loved Daves special.

It is the extremes of both sides that cause these issues. and it is the extreme left that is getting more coverage and support by the entertainment media. That is why we think that leftism is ruining everything. But if you just spend time with regular liberals, they hate the PC BS too.
