Come on now. That's more ridiculous than anything on this thread so far.Quote:

Personally I just love the absolute destruction of the city during the Supes vs Zod fight. Exactly the kind of epic battle I want from my superhero movies.
Avengers battle of NY was in this same ballpark as well. I've always had a thing for major city battles on an epic scale.
Could have been a subplot of Iron Man 3 - the class-action lawsuit he keeps having to show up for and his court dates save him from the Mandarin's attack with the gun ships.bearamedic99 said:Brian Earl Spilner said:

Totally agree. This always bugged me about superhero movies. There's a scene in Avengers, I can't remember the reason/details, but Iron Man is falling and ends up stopping his fall by blasting repulsors downward, about 10 feet above civilians with no damage to the civilians.
While Zemo may not be a great villain, I'll say that Zemo was able to do what Loki could not - tear the Avengers apart.Quote:
On the flip side, its villain is kind of weak, but the core conflict of the movie was Tony and Steve and the two factions in the Avengers, so it would have been hard to carry a great villain, too.

The fact that it's in his mighty Thor voice makes it that much better.MuckRaker96 said:
My Favorite Quote: Thor: "Noobmaster, hey, it's Thor again. You know, the God of Thunder? Listen, buddy, if you don't log off this game immediately, I am gonna fly over to your house, come down to that basement you're hiding in, rip off your arms and shove them up your butt! Oh, that's right, yes, go cry to your father, you little weasel!"
That's not what I meant, I meant everyone is taking hits. Like sometimes the lower seeds just want to punch the higher seeds in their perfect faces.Brian Earl Spilner said:
This leads me to believe that Infinity War is destroying Winter Soldier, which makes me sad.
Don't get me wrong though, I love Infinity War.
That was the first thing I did when I bought the Endgame bluray. I've done it a couple of times since then since I look at those movies as one really long movie, but I don't always have 5+ hours to spare.c-jags said:
we finished our marathon of the entirety of MCU with IW and Endgame last night.
i would not recommend watching both of those back to back. 5 hour long emotional roller coaster.
It was really difficult to vote against TWS but that vote reflects my overall MCU rankings that starts with Infinity War+Endgame in the top spot (I know that technically that is a cheat, but I consider those to be one long movie), and The Winter Soldier in the second spot.Brian Earl Spilner said:

I'm proud the Winter Soldier gave IF a fight.Quote:
#2 Avengers: Infinity War 54%, #7 Captain American: The Winter Soldier: 46%
Both these surprise me, especially Thor.Quote:

Winter Soldier was tied with Infinity War as recently as 8 pm and was ahead last night.
Iron Man was ahead early this morning, then it turned into a run away.
Ragnarok led wire to wire.
I wish the seeds were swapped, as I think GOTG could beat Infinity War, but que lastima.

This whole exercise just really shows how awesome the MCU is. So many great movies and they're not "all the same".
