However, the guys on Pardon My Take (podcast) had Cena on yesterday's episode and it was one of the few interviews I finally had to skip. Those guys are excellent at adapting to whoever they're interviewing and it was just painful.

Maybe I'm just being a jerk but I was not at all a fan. Not trying to derail… just was odd.

That was a very awkward interview. Which is weird because the first time they interviewed Cena it was one of their better ones.


Anyway, we watched the first 2 episodes and liked it a lot. My wife is not a fan of superhero movies but really likes this so far.

Definitely got better as it went on and they toned down all the F bombs.

And I use F bombs pretty regularly but we all know there is an art to is that is very nuanced.

Watched all three episodes. Fun and enjoyable so far. Some audible laugh moments too. I'm in

Ok so it wasn't just me. It's very rare to see those guys struggle to get a guest to catch on to the jokes/bits. I almost got the impression Cena understood but kept purposely try to point out that what they were saying was illogical, despite the fact that it was obviously a joke. I wondered if Big Cat basically saying "you're John Cena why would you do this show" at the beginning offended Cena so he decided to be a turd the rest of the interview.

I didn't notice. She's a pretty lady but that's all I picked up on.

Speaking of injections, Alyssa Milano had some new movie on Netflix we watched called Brazen. She's headed down the Jennifer Coolidge path. Her movements are incredibly stiff.

Pretty good first three episodes. Vigilante is the best character in the show for me so far.

Watched all three last night. Loved Vigilante

Also, I have a theory that involves upcoming DC movies and the mini spaceship.

I think the mini spaceship is from The Reach, and the butterflies are advance scouts. The Reach is an alien race that created the Blue Beetle technology, and I think this sets up the Blue Beetle movie. Peacemaker and Blue Beetle (not the current iteration) were both Charlton comics characters before DC bought them out.

I didn't think about The Reach. I only know them from Young Justice. But if that brings about Blue Beetle then I'm all for it. You say"the Blue Beetle movie" like its a done deal its happening. Please tell me that's true.

The movie is 100% happening. August 18, 2023, and filming starts soon.

Love the show

Watched the first two episodes, this show is really funny, I enjoyed them. I think Gunn is treating Cena like he did Bautista in GotG, having him say ridiculous things in a completely dead-pan manner. Gunn just knows how to use these guys, I don't like Cena in anything but he's great as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad and this show. The sequence after he takes 'the butterfly' back to her place is ridiculous. Activate Sonic Boom, good lord. Robert Patrick's hair, incredible. The opening sequence, wow. Eagley, ridiculous.

According to her insta (and Wikipedia) she's dating/living with James Gunn.
