My favorite part was Peacemaker trying to take a selfie while Eagly was hugging him…it's those little touches that make this show so good.

Also remember he lost a ***ton of super cute pictures of Eagly when Vigilante threw his phone out the window last week.

This show, I just love it. Gunn just knows how to make content that I enjoy. I keep trying to tell people to watch this show and they won't because they think it's going to be dumb. I had similar issues trying to get people to watch Succession, but they all changed their tune. It also feels like Cena is figuring out the acting gig, he leans into the ridiculous and also shows some emotional range, good for him.

There's no wrong time to rock.

My youngest son took WAY too long to end that habit...I think it was in a movie theater bathroom when I finally had to have the talk with him. Son, nobody wants to see your butt when they're trying to go to the bathroom.

This is the only show maybe since Arrested Development where I consistently laugh out loud at least 8-10 times per episode. Gunn just innately knows that sweet spot of character development/interaction that produces such funny scenes/line readings.

It's like he's a mad chemist and puts together a bunch of ingredients (animal that either talks or has human qualities, misunderstood anti-hero, bad a$$ hot chick, muscle head, assorted other misanthropes) and shakes it up and adds a few villains along with traditional law enforcement (or space enforcement) who comment on their ridiculousness, which is also great for some funny scenes/interactions.

He then adds great/quirky music that perfectly compliments it all and you have the Gunn experience.

I need this one to stick the landing since Book of Boba Fett certainly didn't. I'm not sure what formula Robert Rodriguez uses for shooting/budget but he needs to hang up his viewfinder. Dude has lost his fastball, that's for damn sure. Sorry for the derail.
Landing....stuck!!!!

Gunn really is a master and combining comedy, drama, and incredibly poignant scenes to wrap up his movies/series. And after watching this it's painfully (funny) obvious why Gunn refused to release episode 8 early. There's no way that secret wouldn't get spoiled.

Great ending. Great cameo. Didn't think it would actually be Momoa and Miller, just silhouettes like WW and Superman.

Love that I got to hear Aquaman drop an f bomb in full costume.

Can't wait for season 2 and the other show Gunn has up his sleeve.

That was ****ing fantastic. Truly the best DC property since Nolan's Batman.

That was amazing.

The best villains often act as a mirror to the hero, and Gunn executed that flawlessly, with the butterflies ultimately adhering to the same principle Peacemaker did, and Peacemaker finally rejecting it in the end. A perfect character arc!

And yeah, incredible cameos in the end.

Just a fantastic series all around.

Can't wait for season two, but with Gunn in the middle of filming GOTG3, unfortunately, we could be waiting a while…
