Hated 1883, but love 1923. I think this might be the best one of the Yellowstone universe.

Taylor must be banging the girl from 1883 because there is no other logical reason for her to be doing voiceovers.

1923 is my favorite of the franchise. I still wonder when/if John Dutton's grandfather will morph into what we know of the Dutton "personality". He's a lightweight so far.

Loving 1923, glad this week wasn't another episode of "what fantastic adventure does Spencer get himself into this week?!?"

Ready for him to get to Montana and start killing people.

The opening scene this week with them getting the guns and loading up the horses with the combination of the music and scenery was great.

This week was pretty fantastic. I appreciate that ample time was dedicated to the major storylines.

I did not get the Timothy Dalton-***** scene. It felt gratuitous.

I'm also confused by Alexandra's fiance showing up. Who cares? She's married. What could that possibly add to this story? And more importantly, what are we not getting to see to waste time on this?

Finally showing it snows in Montana. Who knew!

I think it's safe to say that Sheridan is going to leave us hanging with that scene into next season. With next episode being the last, we'll have to wait to see Spencer arrive in Montana next season. There's probably some stuff to sort out with Alex that will take a lot of time

Yup. We get it. He's a bad dude.

Don't push it into characature territory.

I'm with you. Why did they bring Alex's ex fianc back? What's the point? Perhaps to introduce another internal co flick for her? Conflict for Spencer? Not sure either of them need MORE conflict. Lol.

If she's conflicted at this point...well, she just isn't.

Something else going on.

Spencer's journey has become a clown car of disasters by this point.

Am I the only one who physically cringed when Pete (I think is his name) asked Teonna if her dad was going to beat him up?

Jesus. What horrible dialogue.

Holy ****, this episode is depressing as hell.

Loved watching Arthur Superman off the ship. That got a pretty good laugh from everyone.

Never heard of the, if I take care of another persons taxes for the land. It's my land if they don't pay me back. Interesting

It doesnt quite work that way but you can take assignment of a tax lien and foreclose it, and i've seen people try to scam that process.

Drama for the sake of drama.

Otherwise he would have returned by episode 3. And apparently that was not the plan.

Also why they could not just use the ships radio to contact the captain who married them to verify. I mean that was demonstrated already (relaying messages ship to ship) but.....we needed more drama.

Is that the season ending?

Because, if it is, I'm feeling like The Critical Drinker when he says, "Aw, f*** off, show!"

And if that is all it took, what does Timothy Dalton need Bron for?

Make him a secret nazi that's infiltrated upper Hollywood society so he can steal a rocket back to Germany for the Fuhrer.

My Dad's family lost the family farm in rural Mississippi during the Great Depression in a similar way. Banker and Sheriff checked tax roles. Sheriff approached folks and demanded to see paid tax receipts mid-year. Those who could not produce them lost their place. Crooked and illegal but that was the times.

Made a huge impact on my Dad. He vividly remembered seeing the Sheriff and his deputies driving livestock off the land. They were allowed a wagon and the clothes on their backs.

Told my wife when Dalton showed up he was going to play the tax card.

Lots of cliffhangers in this one!

At least they didn't have Elsa read the law that was used.

I took this weeks dalton hooker scene as a super ham handed way of foreshadowing his ability to make people turn on each other in an effort to keep him at bay

also my wife and I walked around the house yelling BOZEMAN ILL MEET YOU IN BOZEMAN after the episode

kind of sad that boatteen 23 is over tho

Listen….. I like naked women as much as the next guy. But watching these scenes….building to a point…is unnecessary in a show like this. Millions of people and families are watching the show due to the previous years of Yellowstone/1883.

Yes we saw small nudity in some scenes before, but this show has taken it to an another level.

Tell a good story and nudity is unnecessary. I think Taylor Sheridan is using Game of Thrones techniques to keep people watching.

Just my 2 cents.

My favorite show as well, but who TF in this series is John Dutton's grandfather? This family tree is confusing.

I don't think it matters much and by now, almost no one even cares about the tree.

As for the naked gals…that entire scene…twice….add absolutely nothing to the show. It could have been deleted. I'd rather have not watched it at all if I'm being honest. It was cringy and forced…..so to speak.

The graphic scenes from the Indian school, I get. Those made sense within the story line. The naked girls are gratuitous. Timothy Dalton is mean. We get it. These scenes serve zero purpose.
BrazosDog02

Yeah. I agree. The miscarriage scene. Crucial to the plot and emotional situation. Indian school. Crucial. Naked chicks whipped with belts…nah. Seems a guy of Sheridan caliber could have developed a better scene to convey the character of Dalton.
