They finally put this out on Paramount + so I started watching it yesterday, Got as far as start of the sailboat scene and just turned it off.
Perhaps it was all the silliness and inaccuracies of the flying scenes that drove me nutty. No, there is no manned vehicle that flies anywhere close to Mach10. There is no way to eject and live traveling at any speed like that.No, test pilots are automatically grounded flying outside the prescribed training curriculum. COs portraits at HQ are not glamour shots. Use the right damn tools to work on your P-51, dammit!
Perhaps this is just a movie that is about what I've done for a living for the last several decades and can't bring myself to suspend reality long enough to enjoy a work of fiction. But I really was surprised to see so many calling this the movie of the year.
