The first one is just as inaccurate. Do you hate that one as well? If so, I'm not sure what you were expecting.
My wife could not believe this is the same Jennifer Connelly that is in the "Snowpiercer" TV series...maroon barchetta said:

Agreed about getting a good sequel.
It was also refreshing to see a fun movie, that is void of some sort of societal/political statement. Just a fun story.

Go see Avatar 2. It has no agenda. Straight entertainment!
LOL, really, or are you being sarcastic? I expected A2 to be both pretty entertaining...and also have some bs themes...Chuck Cunningham said:AgGrad99 said:

I forgot to mention that the scene with Val Kilmer at his home was extremely well done ... a nice tribute without being too maudlin. As was the connection between Mav and Rooster.
I did not recognize Jean Louisa Kelly as Kilmer's wife. Saw her name in the credits and couldn't figure out who she was in the movie!

I didn't think it was bad, but I did find it overrated. It seemed like a pretty standard action movie to me. Not a waste of money by any means, but not the greatest action movie ever. I think a lot of the reaction for the movie is because we have been so starved for movie theater movies the last couple of years. When we actually got one, people went crazy... Also, in today's world, every reaction has to be over the top (see OP).

I FINALLY just watched Maverick.
I've always felt like Top Gun was overrated. It was a an ok movie to me, but very very overrated.
I freakin LOVED Maverick. It blows TG outta the water and is an enjoyable movie start to finish. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it might actually be one of my top 20 all time favorite movies to watch now. Really enjoyed it.

somebody is suppressing some issues.
the rest of what you said amounts to "look at me".

I'm a computer programmer/SW/IT expert. You think you have it bad every single movie contains huge computer inaccuracies it seems unless it is set in middle earth. But I just suspend disbelief and roll with it. You can overanalyze it, or enjoy it. Your choice.
Agree on both counts.Orlando Ayala Cant Read said:EclipseAg said:

Shes aging well. Btw..."Yes Dear" is one of the most underrated comedies of this century that nobody ever talks about.
