Have you ever walked out of the theatre in the middle of a movie? If so, what movie was it?

Solaris (2002). By and far the worst movie my eyes have ever graced

Roadhouse - I was 14 and was making out with a girl the entire time, so eventually, we just left so we could carry on somewhere else.

Gettysburg
I felt like I needed to start sending Christmas cards to the people that sat around me because we were together for so long.

However, I really enjoyed the movie.

What's bad about Elvis? I haven't seen it, but I liked other music themed movies (Yesterday, Bohemian Rhapsody and Blinded by the Light).

I almost walked out when Leia looked like Mary Poppins flying thru space while force returning to the ship.

The only movie I've ever walked out on was Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Bohemian Rhapsody was mostly good, but it was Dr ****ing Zhivago compared to Elvis.

If I had to sum up Elvis in two words? Extremely disjointed.

That movie is a classic, and Rosie was in her prime. Some of you will never be pleased.

I walked out of a movie with Billy Bob called Pushing Tin. I think it was about air traffic controllers. I just reached a point where I didn't care what happened next. Was passign time before flying home from a business trip.

Closest I've come to walking out was that Card Counter movie from last year with Oscar Isaac. Easily the worst movie I've ever seen, was just pure stubbornness thinking there would be some kind of point at the end.

I can think of some that I wish I had walked out on but was too stubborn to because I paid for a ticket: Footloose, Great White, Quicksilver, Short Circuit 2, and Batman and Robin come to mind.

It's good, but it's just a weird movie. It's more about Col Parker than Elvis. It's worth it just for the scenes where Elvis is performing.

The only one I remember walking out of was right before it ended, a Steven Seagal movie where his character was standing in front of a group of oil workers lecturing them about the "evils" of oil. This was at a time in my life when I was working for Texaco, and my dad was a career chemist for Shell. **** that guy. Hypocritical rat, who was using a whole hell of a lot of oil-based products just to film that craptastic scene.

I've considered walking out of other bad movies, but I don't recall actually having done so.

Walking Tall in 1973

My big brother and me were young. My mom had been admitted to the hospital and my dad was with her and an older couple from church was looking after us.

They decided to take us to the movies. We went to a theater in Corpus Christi and they got tickets for whatever was showing and the four of us went in.

It's been almost 50 years, but I recall a scene early in the movie where there is a bar fight and a guy gets stabbed in the stomach several times and rolled down an embankment behind the bar.

Our hosts took us out after that.

The Talented Mr. Ripley and then the Mad Max movie. Both of them just sucked.

Man - a wave of emotions just came flooding back.

I was born in '86 - don't remember what age I saw Johnny 5 part deux, but the scene of them beating poor J5 and leaving him bleeding battery acid in the street....the affected young and impressionable crowbar circa 7 yrs old.

I ran out of An American Werewolf in London when the werewolf attacked on the moors. Granted, I was 7 at the time and probably shouldn't have been in the theatre in the first place. I was in the parking lot before my dad caught me.

Magnolia.

Was there with my first wife and my parents. Picture a crowded theater and then that opening scene hits. My parents were 6-7 seats down from us with other couples between us.

In my peripheral vision I see my Dad lean forward, turn and look at me, and then he YELLS down the row to me: "YOU READY TO GO YET?!"

Mortified. We got up and left.

I later watched it at home. It sucked. Was one of the first movies made with the whole seemingly disparate plot lines that all finally converge at the end.

The sweetest thing with Cameron Diaz.

I was a teenager at the time and my dad and I were just trying to burn time so sat down and immediately the scene where she is getting pleasured shows up.

My dad goes, "well you can stick around, but I'm out."

Followed along with him.

Also is the record for shortest time spent in a theater at a whopping 45-60 seconds.

Cue the rage from the cultural elite, but my wife and I turned off La La Land with Emma Stone and Ryan Goslin after about 3 minutes.

We had a pair of 4 year olds at home who had finally gone to sleep. rented it, watched a few minutes, and my wife said, "I'm not wasting a quiet night on this *****"
