Same, hoping REK is semi sober too.
I think he completely stopped drinking a few years ago.

Cornbread and iced tea took the place of pills and 90 proof, I guess.Counterpoint said:BQ2001 said:

That's really good to know, it was really rough last time I saw him. He was an added bonus when they announced this date.

I saw on Reddit that some fans claim 311 is just going through the motions at their shows, and that they are all the same. But last night, they seemed genuinely happy to be there.
I saw them in Irving this last week. Buddy Guy was great, he's the main reason I went. TT was okay, not really my style of music, but lots of talent in the band.BBRex said:
Anyone catching Tedeschi Trucks Band and Buddy Guy at Cynthia Woods tomorrow?

So many amazingly talented musicians have no ability to write a song that resonates with people, or lack the soul to reach people with their interpretation of a great song. TT is definitely in that category for me. Mastery of guitar is impressive, but there are so many great players that can either write great songs or elevate great songs written by others, that I am not going to spend time or money listening to people who can't.
Michael Richardson. Local D/FW guy mentioned earlier in this thread that played Propositon Joe's wedding reception. Phenomenal all around talent.maroon barchetta said:

That's almost double what I'm paying for ACL this year.johnnyblaze36 said:
Talk about some killer openers. $635 for 3 day passes is a bit outrageous though:
