I'm still enjoying the show as well, and I agree totally about Jason Segel. He is really believable in this role. I like the Gaby character, too.
But does anyone else feel like the scenes are sometimes edited and spliced back together out of order? I've always felt like the timing of some scenes was off, and last night it was really noticeable in the last three or four scenes with Paul and his daughter.
In the first of the scenes, she is sitting at a desk, presumably reading over his papers. Compared to their previous scenes together, she seems angry/upset but we don't know why. I could see it on her face. Then the next scene they meet with the attorney, and she seems fine. She admits the document review process was uncomfortable, but she doesn't seem angry. Then the scene (or maybe it was two scenes) after that is when she asks him to come live with them, and then you see her packing because she's upset he refused. She is really angry in these scenes. And her reaction to him not wanting to move is way over the top, at least in the context of the other scenes we saw.
Something was just off with the continuity of this storyline. Maybe it's just more noticeable because it is such a serious and emotional one that escalated very quickly.
