To his credit, Ashton still hasn't given up, and somehow now has AARO officially investigating. Granted, AARO might very well be corrupt as hell (hopefully less so with Kirkpatrick gone), but either way I love that this is the saga that cannot be killed…

So AARO admits that they did "initial research" into MH370? AARO didn't exist 10 years ago, at least by that name. This would be recent research then, unrelated to Ashton's request?

Based on other comments on the thread, it means that DHS pitched the idea of this study as an SAP, but it was never funded and didn't do anything. In other words, a nothing burger.

Was watching a channel I frequent that covers AI progress and the developments that are occurring. A researcher that has been calling for a slow down and further safety measures used the term Non-Human intelligence in regards to AI. He was saying we are very close to waking up one morning and realizing that there is a NHI in control. Made me think about the UAP stuff we are seeing. Perhaps it ties in, perhaps not, but interesting to think about.

I mentioned this a while back in the thread, but I do find it incredibly interesting that, IF there is an "alien" coverup, what are the chances that, in our species' 300,000 year history, both the coverup being exposed AND human beings developing AGI (artificial general intelligence) would be happening/culminating in the exact same decade, both potentially by 2030 or so?

I don't know what the scientific connection is, but the greatest discovery in all of human history coinciding exactly with the greatest invention in all of human history - potentially down to the exact same year - would almost have to be more than coincidence.

Again, a lot of "ifs" there, I know, but the fact remains that both of these efforts are on a parallel track, each currently reaching unprecedented levels, each with the potential to change our world in profound ways.

Otherwise, I've always kind of liked the theory that some "aliens" could be AI from another planet. Maybe their creators died off, and all that was left was the AI, to go out and explore the universe on its own.

Granted, I still think the inter-dimensional and/or crypto-terrestrial theories make the most sense, but one doesn't necessarily preclude out the other. All three could technically be a reality.
