Well, son, I'm not sure I can negotiate with a man named after a breakfast pastry.

Jennifer Jason Leigh has been fantastic this season.

Hope she gets some nods come award season.

The breakfast pastry line was Jon Hamm's character, but YES JJL has been fantastic in this role. Creepy looking, but fantastic!

JLL's character is terrible. I hope she gets brained with an ax in true Fargo-style.

The character is awful and her acting is some of the worst I've seen in a long time. I can't believe they went forward with that actress after hearing how bad her contrived rich lady voice and mannerisms are. Honestly has really taken me out of the show every time she's been on screen.

As others have said, it's better than most of the stuff on right now, but I'd have to rank it at the bottom - for me personally - of the series tied with the Chris Rock season.

This. Thought the first two episodes were very solid but the season is entering "meh" territory for me halfway through...luckily they've got half the season to turn it around.

Maybe we will find out later in the show that JJLs character comes from a super poor family and she is just pretending to be "elite" based on movies she watched or her perception of how a rich person would act?

if not, she stinks.

This is a great show despite the JLL character. The last episode was meh but I think it's the best thing on tv right now.

I didn't like her acting at the start but it's grown on me. Now that I can see what they are going for, I think she is nailing it. Really great show. Lots of questions for sure, but I look forward to watching each week. I have faith they will bring it all together.

This is what I'm thinking. I don't think her performance is bad, I think it is deliberately cartoonish. Yes she is a rich and powerful woman, but that comes from running a sleazy business. She does not come form a family with any class, but is putting on airs of having class that is not there.

She's very over the top, but I did enjoy her scene with the Sheriff

I wish the tension this show builds paid off a bit better. With everyone descending on the hospital at the same time, I was ready for some crazy **** to go down. But that didn't really happen.

Feels similar to the tension built for the 2 home invasions, only for both to disappoint.
Thanks and gig'em

Never thought I could be so intimidated by a 105 pound woman, but damn Juno scares the pee out of me. Maybe (good or bad) reminds me so much of my own wife. Maybe need to get her some extra jewelry for Christmas, Hon

Finally got caught up today on a long flight home. Really enjoying this season.

Loved the last episode and can picture a few wild scenarios to which this season may be headed to.

I like how Jenifer Jason Leigh is playing this Fargo-esque role, you have to consider it within the Coen and now TV series pantheon and to me it fits well.

And then I picture her in the Hateful 8 and it just makes me appreciate this characterization more.

The baby line slayed me.

I guess I should clarify...I think JLL is doing a fine acting job. If her goal was to be so vile that I can't stand her character, then she nailed it. There are very few characters I am rooting for in this season.

Maybe there will be an origin episode for JJL similar to that freaky origin of the hitman.

Going back a few episodes, but the scene where Jon Hamm is praying in his own chapel for God to be with his son as he goes to kidnap his ex wife, whom he abused, all while Prodigy's "Smack My ***** Up" drops was epic.

I think this is by far the best role that Jon Hamm has had since the end of "Mad Men", but up to this point the series has not done enough with the character.

Started with more promise, but definitely losing interest as it sinks toward the bottom of Fargo seasons. That said, the bar for this show is pretty high

I thought it started a bit slow and it has built, Mrs. Lyon the Tiger keeps getting more and more cornered.

I thought last night's ep was really interesting, we seem to be trending towards more of a Lorraine/Dot vs Roy Tillman battle which I didn't see coming. Really enjoying this season, I love how Fargo takes these ridiculous characters but somehow makes them fit into a reasonably normal world.

I guess I'm a total idiot but, until last night I thought the golfer wannabe was the cop's son, not her husband. What a loser he is.

Ole Munch speaks in riddles and I love it.

I do enjoy Sheriff Roy Tillman, but damn he is a BAD dude.

This episode had so many great acting moments: Gator, Roy, Ole, Indira, Scotty, Lars, Wink, Wayne

Character most deserving of a bullet to the head, even more than JJL.

And tossing a body off a Wyoming cliff, was that a train station reference?

Munch is going to end up helping Dot and Mrs Lyon in some way with the final killings. He didn't just drive off not to be heard from again obviously.
