I definitely thought that when I saw it.
She saw a postcard with Camp Utopia and a chicken piccata recipe on the bulletin board before she fell asleep. There might have been others.torrid said:
I'm not sure if there was some clue that it was a dream that I missed, maybe other than Dot falling asleep at the wheel.
The bulletin board also has a notice for a doll show, and when she's driving away from the diner she's on the wrong side of the road.Counterpoint said:She saw a postcard with Camp Utopia and a chicken piccata recipe on the bulletin board before she fell asleep. I just finished season 4 bc I never saw it and I liked it much more than I thought I would. I guess my expectations were really low.
Yep. Was a terrific episode all around. Wow.jah003 said:

Great episode yesterday. I'm interested in googling the real story but will wait until after this season is done to see how it ends.

For some reason, I found it reminiscent of the Mad Men "Tomorrow Never Knows" episode.jah003 said:Phrasing said:Yep. Was a terrific episode all around. Wow.jah003 said:

Throwing up spoiler tags since I know a lot of people watch on Wednesday, but…
Walking to the barn to that version of Toxic was peak Fargo
I agree he is great in the role, but he is only just now able to fully flex his muscles in it.zap said:
John Hamm has just been amazing this season.
Definitely was introduced as a hard to like caricature level depiction of a snooty rich person, so we can acknowledge she is a flawed character. However, she is strong minded and get's things done, recognizes something special in deputy Olmstead and offers her a job, loves her son and has started to see Dot for the strong minded person she is, and clearly also sees Sheriff Roy as a comic but distasteful human. Since the end of episode 6 it seemed to me that strong women were grouping together to take down Roy, who considers women as property.torrid said:
I'm still not sure exactly how much of a villain JJL is in the story.
I mentioned this a while back in the thread, but I've started watching on Wednesday on Hulu because the broadcast quality is so much better.zap said:
Such a good episode, with so many killer moments.
- Dot promising to kill Roy (he knows she is capable)
- The sheriff's debate
- Ole Munch's return
- Dot seeing the windmill and realizing what happened to Linda
- Poor Danish...RIP
John Hamm has just been amazing this season. I usually watch on Wednesdays (Hulu), but I will end up catching it next week on Tuesday (FX). I just can't wait to see what happens. This show is one of a kind.

What's the consensus on the show so far? Loved the first 2 seasons, thought 3 was okay, and got 2 episodes into 4 and quit.
