So, is Jason Momoa playing two different DC characters, or is this some sort of alternate universe Aquaman?

"Deadline's reporting is shoddy & incorrect," Gunn wrote in a post on Threads. "I've always thought Deadline was pretty thorough in their journalism but that's not the case here so I'm frankly disappointed. If someone would have run these names by us we would have said it's bull***** I've been friends with Adria a long time since I cast her in The Belko Experiment. I'm a fan of both Marisa and Ella but I've never met either of them. Crazy."

It's crazy that James Gunn...
- Took over DC
- Wrote Superman
- Shot Superman
- Released Superman
- Wrote Man of Tomorrow
- Will shoot Man of Tomorrow
- Will release Man of Tomorrow
... all BETWEEN the release of Reeves' The Batman and The Batman: Part II. Granted, The Batman: Part II finally starts filming in a few weeks, and will release just three months after Man of Tomorrow, but still.

Yeah, I can't wait for Batman II. The Reeves universe is the real DC for me at this point until Gunn proves himself. Superman was just a bad movie IMO.

If he really said that, then he clearly hasn't had his media training yet. While he's likely correct, a savvy exec wouldn't state it that way.

He didn't really say it, and the article specifically says it's not about AI, but moving people from full-time to contract status.
" It does not appear that these specific jobs were eliminated for reasons involving AI, which has been a driver behind other shakeups in the creative industries."
