That had to set a per-minute record for the most scenes where two people have a conversation on either side of the blatant product placement.

I haven't finished it yet but I've enjoyed what I've heard so far. I love that Bob Einstein went off script a lot regarding the jokes and plenty of them made it onto the show. I can only imagine how difficult it was to keep it together doing scenes with him.

That might have actually been a top 3 all time Curb episode. Laughing the whole time

Yeah, that was fantastic. So many rants, so many laughs. I just about lost it at the Siri bit, especially when my own Siri started chiming in as well.

Man, it's so good to have this show back, even if for the last time.

It couldn't have been that blatant considering I have no idea what scenes you're talking about.

Off to a good start. Being cordial at the party killed me. I loathe making small talk and often find myself repeating lines in an over-the-top voice to feign interest too. Dammit, Larry

He might be talking about the iPhone scenes as product placement but that doesn't really track in 2024 and Larry has always done this. Callback to the Season 1 meltdown over the Prius navigation system while looking for the house that cum built

LMAO I didn't even think about that happening since we have Androids. Hilarious!

Based on Jerry's reaction, this was not scripted.

From another discussion site:

Quote:

LD always foreshadows the final episode of the season in the first episode. It is very clear how the entire series will end.

Larry's going to end on a jail theme to reconcile with the Seinfeld ending

Back in October, at the end of a show, Jerry hinted at something coming having to do with the Seinfeld finale. He was pretty cryptic, but it sounded like some kind of reexamination of the finale, and he even mentioned Larry. Something along the lines of you're talking about would definitely fit that…

That was, unfortunately, not a great episode. Maybe one of the worst of the entire series, IMO.

No. They are dropped weekly. Ep 2 just dropped.

I agree. I've always enjoyed the show and found it funny despite the fact that Larry and I don't agree on a single political issue. I'm not a Trump fan (although I fully intend on voting for him if he's the R candidate) but I'm already sick of the political bashing this season. It's lazy and unimaginative and what has made late night TV and SNL untolerable. I'm sad the TDS has destroyed Curb.

That's not at all what I was talking about, but whatever. Larry has been sporadically bashing Trump for two or three seasons now, and it hasn't "destroyed" Curb in the least.

Also, I thought last week's episode was fantastic.

It's just that not a single plot line in this episode really made much sense. Usually, when only one plot line is wonky, it doesn't matter because another one makes up for it, or it's all so funny, who cares if it makes sense or not. Everything about this one just felt super forced, though, not in a political way (it didn't even seem that political to me overall), but rather in characters not acting even remotely rational. And then I maybe only laughed once, which didn't help either.

Curb had the right amount of political punch until this season. This week's episode was completely predictable the moment he started staring at Jeff's hair wondering how to color the lawn jockey. I knew exactly where they were going with it ala Guiliani.

Susie and Leon are no longer funny.

The arrest of Emmitt made no sense to me at all.

I feel like the show is going to end with Larry in jail with Trump.
