I don't mean to analyze this episode to death, I just found it unbelievable that after everyone at the house had already commented on how distasteful/racist the lawn jockey was, Susie had them replace it because she didn't want to pay a fee. Especially considering they're all incredibly wealthy people. It just felt so ridiculously forced. Combine that with the guy getting arrested for wearing the jacket Larry gave him, which made no sense, along with a couple other more minor things, and it all simply required more suspension of disbelief than usual. Not to mention it just wasn't that funny, IMO.

100% Correct!

Watched the newest episode last night and didn't laugh a single time, a first for any Curb episode ever. Well, I did actually laugh at "long ball Larry" but that was it.

Long Ball Larry

Think Willie had a great cameo this week. He was almost losing it during the bosenberry bit

Where did you have the Bosenberry? They're very big in Vermont ...

That was my least favorite episode this season. I did chuckle at Ziggy Zeckelman and the defamatory bricks.

Seems like they are now setting up Larry to go to prison at the finale. Also, one of Leon's crazy invention ideas will take off and make him rich.

Larry's obviously borrowed from the Seinfeld days for Curb episodes before, and this most recent episode was no different with the naming of a child, even down to Seven/Mantle.

If they finish with him going to prison, will the button on his shirt be in no man's land?

I'm pretty sure it's been said that they'll correct the Seinfeld finale.

If they set it up to where he goes to prison for giving someone bottled water in a voting line, that's even weaker than the Seinfeld crew going to prison for not helping a guy getting carjacked.

Y'all know they had to have the guy arrested for wearing the shirt Larry bought him in jail and to blame Larry. That's why they had that.

I've told this story before, but one of the three times I've seen Larry David in person, it was at a showing of Spielberg's Lincoln back in 2012. Larry and who I assume was a date (an attractive and much younger woman, surprise, surprise) were sitting three or four rows in front of us, and before the movie even started a guy in his row got up TWICE and had to scooch past Larry to leave/return to his seats both times. Once for food and then the other time I assume to go to the bathroom. Well, the second time, as the guy scooched past him, Larry basically did this...

... and I just about levitated out of my seat, watching him get annoyed with someone in public, in person.

Needless to say, last night's episode hit pretty close to home in that regard.

We'll never have a TV show like this ever again when it's gone.

From Ted Danson to Sienna Miller to Lori Laughlin.

Then the next thing you know, you've got Cheryl sitting next to Larry in the theatre.

Just brilliantly nuts.
