I'll spend the afternoon watching the Seinfeld finale, and the Curb reunion episodes.

There's too much that's out there to not think he's going to do it.

If I don't get Julia Louis-Dreyfus in this episode, I'm going to be pissed.

I liked the finale with all the bantering and just when you thought it was going Seinfeld-esque, it didn't and had a funny result. I'm sad it's all over but it needed to end. Great run Larry & Co. I'll miss all of you! Lol

Solid ending and they're all old as **** now so feels like old people having a good time doing their best replaying the hits and not giving a **** how it's received by the critics. Except Leon he still bats 1.000 and his review of seinfeld is just amazing and on-brand

They can't say he missed it this time, because they totally nailed it for this show.

It was time to go, but I'll still miss it.

RIP Richard Lewis.

If I can't have JLD, I'll take Allison Janney.

Leon's commentary on Seinfeld
"I watched a few episodes of that Seinfeld on the plane. You never told me it was a show about weekly ass. Jerry has constantly got ass every week. You know what I thought at the beginning? This ain't a TV show. It's more of a fk documentary. How do you fk that much man?"

"You know what it is. The mfing Seinfeld man, I've been catching up on that ***** I've been binge-watching that BS, man. That Kramer, he's too much. Might as well take of that fkn door, and put a saloon door up in that btch, you know what I'm saying?"

But ending on "Go fk yourself Larry. Go back to fin jail." From Susie was where this show had to end. Chef's kiss.

I'll probably never miss anything more than the Susie, Jeff, Larry dynamic.

This is honestly so true. It was so good it even made me like the Seinfeld finale more! Such a genius move to go with the double-down...

Jerry hinted about that a while ago while performing.

Cheryl not liking Mexican food didn't make me laugh.

But Ted Danson saying, "What's up with you going around telling everyone Cheryl doesn't like Mexican food?" had me rolling.

Back in October, at the end of a show, Jerry hinted at something coming having to do with the Seinfeld finale. He was pretty cryptic, but it sounded like some kind of reexamination of the finale, and he even mentioned Larry. Something along the lines of you're talking about would definitely fit that…

The Seinfeld finale really remains unfairly maligned, by the way. It wasn't bad.

What we are calling perfect 26 years later for Curb would not have worked in 1998. It was a different time, certainly a different show, very different expectations, and a tighter audience.

Dude, most people hated the Seinfeld finale.

And most people are idiots. In case you didn't know.

That doesn't mean that the Seinfeld finale wasn't unfairly maligned.

People hated it because they expected…"something". But when you ask them what that would be, they have no answers.

If, as Larry and Jerry said last night, they should have ended it on a mistrial, people would have hated that too.

My favorite lines:

Larry to Richard: "What, are you going to adopt a 40-year-old?"

Ted Danson after the verdict: " I better go do some interviews."

Amazing finale. So good. Also agree it was time for the shown to end.

Re: Seinfeld finale...There was nothing wrong with it. Was it the greatest thing ever? No, but it was good and funny and I enjoy re watching it all the time as Seinfeld is one of my go-to sleep timer shows.

Thought it was wrapped up very nicely as lots of us thought it would.

The scene with Larry and Jerry riffing about dating a bearded woman who shaves was great... felt like it was likely pulled from some of their Seinfeld writing room banter.

they want you to respect the law, but the law doesn't respect wood. you see the irony there?
Was it Larry or Cheryle that got the ring on JLDs' table?

Watching the tic tok vid taken after the final scene was shot made me wonder how shows are filmed. Knowing absolutely nothing about film scheduling, I assumed that it wasn't necessarily done in order.

For example, suppose 15 scenes in the season were to be shot in a particular setting - I figured they'd shoot all those scenes at the same time for cost and logistics reasons.

The wrap video followed the final scene of the show. Was this just coincidence? Do most shows wrap by filming the final scene to conclude the show? Do they film sequentially?

Inquiring minds want to know.

... and Cheryl left the ring - she doesn't respect wood.

They're typically filmed by location and cast etc.

I'm sure for sentimental reasons they filmed the last scene of the show last.

Just finished the finale and enjoyed it as much as everyone else. Then an ad just popped up on IG for me. This golf clothing line has an entire collection out now dedicated to the show and the model of the apparel is Takahashi:
