Beatles released 2 albums a year
MMT was considered the lesser of the albums one year. And it had I am the Walrus, Strawberry Fields, All You Need is Love and Penny lane, not to mention the closing song to one of the best movies of this century.
Not to derail, but what movie?
I would say there isn't much marketing for this album, wouldn't know it was coming out if it wasn't for this thread, but I'm not the target demographic.

I like it so far, but haven't heard any stand outs. I agree that it feels a bit like Midnights 2.0
That being said, it's pretty wild that the expectation is for ever album you put out to have a completely different feel/sound. I'm not sure other artists have that to live up to.

A lot of artists will get criticized for being too different from "their sound" can't win

Her target audience is girls probably 12 and older, I would guess.Diggity said:
who is her target audience? I doubt there's a ton of 16 year old girls posting on this thread (besides TheRapist) so that should tell you something.
you would be wrong. Her audience spans a whole lot more than that.MooreTrucker said:Her target audience is girls probably 12 and older, I would guess.Diggity said:

Having all those songs together just felt kind of depressing... and awkward considering she's supposedly in a good relationship right now.
