This looks awesome. Hoping there's not a lot of over-the-top race-baiting though.
Man that dude has the most Bay Area accent ever. Seems like a cool, down to earth dude just living out his dream.TCTTS said:Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther and Creed, breaks down each film format and the many ways you can see Sinners on the big screen. Why can't it just an entertaining movie? I was going to see it because I like vampire movies and it looks good. BIPOC never even came into my mind. But thanks for that, I guess.Redstone said:
Very happy to see WB Discovery supporting BIPOC Representation, especially after the ridiculous "old boy network" of Zaslav ordering his studio to make Alto Knights …….. because he was Martha's Vineyard walking buddies with Nick Pileggi !!!
…yes seriously.
Which will cost the studio 100 million plus in losses. This is why some of us here, in our advocacy for Diverse Stories, so strongly resist pejoratives such as "Social Justice Warriors" - this is really a question of artistic justice, of opportunity, of uplift.
We must do better.
I'm very excited for these artists, and pleased to see more BIPOC stories hitting the big screen. The old ways must pass.
Edit: please support, and spread the word on social media.

Glad for the acknowledgment. Thank you if you starred, would be appreciated if you haven't yet.
It looks like @SinnersMovie still 100% positive after 50+ reviews. @warnerbros can now take the next step in their marketing campaign and start selling this as not only a great movie, but a surefire Oscar contender and Best Picture of the Year nominee. pic.twitter.com/Ibdkc8I0LR

We are 6 days away.
It is essential we support the film, especially as Hollywood seems determined to "pull back" from Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
Let's show there is a better way, a way of Representation.
Ryan Coogler saying that Puss in Boots: The Last Wish inspired him to make Sinners might be the best thing I've heard all day pic.twitter.com/Tgn3C7afm4

Considering the *only* fully original film this decade to open above $35M has been Nope, WB making that their expectations-setting goal for this is quite bullish. https://t.co/gPVmx6Wwk5

Just opening weekend, I'm not too surprised. Original IP's can make plenty of money (see Star Wars), but they need word of mouth to get them there.

Ok, so I finally watched that damn Ryan Coogler primer about film stock, and I'll be damned if I'm not interested now in driving 30 min to go see this in 70 (65?) mm IMAX. went and watched Oppenheimer in that format and boy was that something.
