Yes, but it's clearly European coded, and Cinderella inspired. And so a lot of people on Twitter were upset at "Woke casting."

But the larger point is that stories are universal, and we really need to get to a point of casting the best people for roles, which means far more BIPOC Representation.

That's only true for very early farmers displaced by massive steppe invasions.

As for Greeks, they were heavily blonde after the rather violent Slavonic invasions of Greece, wave after wave, which still cause a lot of controversy in the context of "Macedonian" identity.

That's interesting, I didn't know that.

Did you know that the bedrock of Wikipedia is Greek and/or ancient Greek. Click on any random article then just start clicking the first link on every page and eventually it will take you to Greek. Until recently I only clicked through to philosophy, which essentially every article will lead you to, but if you go one further it takes you to Greek and sometimes gets caught in a boot loop between modern and ancient Greek.

I've been told the same thing by many, but that sort of verbosity was borne out of too much time in urban environments imo. Have been hiking more often and feel much more relaxed as a result.

His lack of CGI is actually a critique of mine. Dark Knight Rises and Dunkirk both needed some CGI crowds to show the mass of humanity both at the football game and the 400K men that are marooned on the beach. I can't watch either now without those scenes bugging me.
