I think Anora was more successful in achieving what the director aspired to do than The Brutalist.Quinn said:

The Brutalist reminds me of There Will Be Blood versus No Country for Old Men. PTA tried to make one of the greatest films of all time, and did make an excellent film; but the Coen Brothers made a nearly perfect version of a less ambitious film.
