Stephen Colbert was told by CBS' lawyers that he could not interview U.S. Senate Candidate James Talarico live on air because of threats from FCC chair Brendan Carr, who opened a probe into The View for broadcasting an interview with Talarico. Colbert was also told not to mention this on air, which he did anyway.


Then he interviewed Talarico - but on YouTube instead of live TV. Here is the interview:

I am all for helping strangers. Do it quite often and you can tell it's good for the soul. Statistically, conservatives are actually FAR more generous with their money and time when it comes to such charitable causes.

I am talking about letting millions of unvetted people, including countless violent criminals stream across your borders...while many law abiding immigrants go through the process to do things the right way.

I listened to him on Rogan a few months ago...I can't just rattle off all of the specific lies, but it's less about technical fouls, and more about dishonestly framing things, and operating off of false narratives to begin with. Like I said, he is very brilliant and cunning and will absolutely appeal to the low info soccer moms, and many others who don't know about the evils and ill effects of socialism (which he pretends not to be). He is great at painting the other side (people like me and my brown wife) as inherently racist/bigoted/ignorant/heartless/fascist in a very civil manner - as opposed to the Rashida Talib and AOC types, while projecting that he loves them and is not giving up on them lol.

Yeah ok...I mean obviously no one is going to run on literally erasing all borders. Listen to his podcast with Rogan. He advocates for very very open borders. Cloaked in "what would Jesus do" compassion as the prime motivator.

He knows that liberals aren't hardly breeding at all, and that many are taking themselves out of the gene pool altogether with their lifestyles...that the ONLY way for the democrat party to survive is to hammer people while young in the education system, but also flood the country with poor immigrants and get them hooked on the government teet in hopes of making them generational democrats. This is the playbook. He is just way better at not revealing his hand, while the screaming AOC's and Ilhan Omar's of the world are so obvious and loud, they scare many more reasonable people away.
