The Star Wars debates are funny but something that always bothered me (well, made me chuckle really) is how near the beginning of the movie when they find the Obama Presidential Library, err Jawa Sand Crawler all shot up, Obi Wan says that the shots were much too accurate to have been Sand People. It could only have been Imperial Storm Troopers.

Then we spend the remainder of the movie and franchise watching Storm Troopers shoot with the accuracy of Ray Charles.

I was a kid when Star Wars came out.

I remember leaving the theater and my dad saying "For someone that was so accurate in the desert, Storm Troopers can't hit the side of a barn anywhere else."

In any time travel movie when someone from the past travels to the future and says something like "So, this is the future".

No, it's not. It's the present. Nobody can ever be in the future because once you're there, it isn't the future.

I'm likely the only one on this board, or anywhere, with this opinion. I've always been bothered with the fundamental plot of Saving Private Ryan. Great movie, acting, and gripping scenes. Every high schooler should be required to watch the invasion scene at the beginning.

I only had one issue with the movie. When they finally find Ryan, he is a tough, dedicated soldier who refuses to leave the fight. When fighting off the onslaught of krauts he is tough and calm, improvising the mortar shells as handheld explosive devices. But at the end of the assault, they show him cowering and crying like a p***y when covering behind the short wall. Why ruin his character like that?

In episode 2F09 when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

Why would a grown man whose shirt says "Genius at Work" spend all his time watching a children's cartoon show?

I withdraw my question

Going back to where you had been a child slave and your mother had died would not be high on Vader's list of places to visit.

As thrilling as the walk-off bunt was in Major League, and as wild and entertaining as the Indian fans were inside the stadium, the regular season head to head results would have put the single game tiebreaker in New York, not Cleveland.

Speaking of sports movies, the final scenes of Remember the Titans made me think that the filmmakers didn't really understand the rules of football. Why is the opposing team not taking a knee? Why risk a fumble? Then to compound the mistake, somehow the Titans have to take a timeout following the change of possession to stop the clock?

The first recorded instance of a team taking a knew to run out the clock was October 13, 1976.

Pretty much every avengers type movie.
the fight scenes. They can withstand being thrown 100' into a concrete wall and explosions or whatever, but all of a sudden at some point they get hurt and can't fight back.

Vader thought he killed Padme, she just happened to go into labor as she was dying, no reason for him to think he had living children somewhere.

In the new Mando movie...

Mando is captured from his home planet and his new Razorcrest is parked outside his home. Then at the end of the movie it's been magically repositioned to the Republic base?
