one tour too late

Can't say I'm a big S-K fan. They worked OK as an opener, but ruined far too many encores in '03.

Coryn's vocals on RITFW and Fortunate Son were just TERRIBLE.

I thought SK were good openers, but didn't become a fan until The Woods. That album is really amazing, and I find it hard to believe anyone who likes Pearl Jam wouldn't like that album. Shame they're breaking up as they're hitting their stride.

SK absoultely ruined many encores. Hated em in 03, liked them a lot better as an opener at the Borgata last year. Actually liked Modern Girl a little.

No crap. I love their music and they are my favorite band, but I hate hearing about their political views.

Whooooooly shiat. Tom Petty can rock out. I was very surprised.

PJ hauled ass through a 19 song set in 1.5 hours. They sounded great, but I'm curious if they are playing all their shows with such a fast tempos. Sounds like they used to play years ago.

Seats were great. Center stage Row X. Finally paying off from the 10 club....though I'm still waiting on my Christmas single.

Then TP and the Heartbreakers start playing. They rocked the house and blew everyone away. They played a little Yardbirds and had Eddie come out for a couple songs. You could tell Eddie looked humbled and was happy to be playing with them.

All in all...I'd give an A+ to the whole show. Some people were a little pissed at PJ's show, but hey, it was a co-head liner. I finally left the show at 1215 AM

Any updates on Vegas?

Keep Stone away from the curtains.

Vegas was solid, but Ed was a little under the weather, or so he said.

San Diego was a much better show, in my opinion. The introduction of Long Road was poignant and touching, and of course we also got the debut of Big Wave and a performance of Crown of Thorns.

Vegas was great. Big troubles after the show and we had to cancel our trip to San Diego in the middle of the night. One of our friends that was intending to travel with us to San Diego took a beer bottle to the face at one of the bars at the MGM. Not pretty at all. We came home in the AM instead. Sucked.

However, listen to the Vegas boot... You'll hear Ed talk about the Vegas melting pot and the brazilian flag someone is holding up and the TEXAS shirt someone is wearing. Yep, that someone was me. He pointed and waved a couple of times during the show. It was cool to get a shout out from Ed!! I'll wear it again in SF and I'm sure he'll get sick of it by night two.

Last two shows of the tour coming up. Ugh..

His mic is swung over, so while he may not be singing at that very moment, he is doing vocals on the song.

Yea, just like Boom has added keys to Porch and Alive (much to my dismay). They're constantly retooling songs.

Heck, mid-tour they added a drum solo in the middle of Even Flow.

Gotta have fun with it.
