Yes, the irony is ironic, indeed. He was never a principled 'protect the American people from the Russians' guy/actor, he was always a crook just play acting to support 'his team' to benefit his career/financial interests. Same could be said for all of Comey's homey's in the Hoover Bldg apparatus. Which is why it's disgusting Kash/Bongino have arrested nor fired anyone of substance and have actually managed to promote some of the actual ringleaders.

— People Familiar With the Matter (@NumbersNum) April 11, 2025Lee is absolutely right. This knee-jerk impulse to blame the UK or Italy or whoever else for Russiagate is just a way to avoid facing the far more uncomfortable truth: this was an American operation, carried out by American actors. That’s the real tragedy.

🚨 FBI Lisa Page’s Chilling Admission: “If they start digging deep, we are screwed…” 👀

• Newly declassified Crossfire Hurricane documents reveal FBI attorney Lisa Page’s fear that the media, following a New York Times article, might start "digging deep" into the Crossfire… https://t.co/gsmpLni5Vj pic.twitter.com/3HN58QY40x
ETA: I have to wonder if these messages were part of the ones that the FBI said were "lost"?Quote:
On November 7, 2016, Lisa Page reacted to a New York Times article about Russian propaganda efforts tied to the 2016 election, specifically mentioning "lots of HRC-related emails."
Her response in a message to colleagues"if they start digging deep, we are screwed"suggests the FBI team was hiding something explosive that couldn't withstand scrutiny, possibly evidence of their own misconduct in targeting Trump.
Page also emphasized the need to maintain the FBI's "good guys" image, "To remind people that we are STILL the good guys trying to keep America safe, and not political operatives who sway elections."
This admission of public perception shows at a deliberate cover-up, a plot to sway the election aftermath against Trump.
Russia collusion hoaxer Adam Goldman of the New York Times is very upset that Russia collusion hoaxer Brian Auten of the FBI has been suspended. Seems personal to him. https://t.co/7e0vqcwm0i

The suggestion that Obama might have used a Yahoo accountan insecure platform that had been compromised in a massive 2014 breachraises serious national security concerns, as it implies that foreign actors who were behind the Podesta hack, could have accessed sensitive communications involving the sitting U.S. president.
From a conspiratorial perspective, the FBI's casual mention of this issue, with no apparent follow-up, except from the same person saying
"sounds like a good question for the 7th FLOOR to handle", suggests a potential cover-up or deliberate inaction to protect Obama and the Clinton campaign.
While Crossfire Hurricane aggressively pursued alleged ties between Trump associates and Russia, the FBI completely failed tio investigate Obama's email practices.
The possibility that Russia had leverage over Obama through a compromised Yahoo account is spicy AF
LOOK AT THE 17 DROPS…
Why wasn't HRC prosecuted for the emails? Put simply, OBAMA ultimately OK'd by using the non govt email addy to communicate w/ Clinton. OBAMA also had an ALIAS (YAHOO????) along with each of his cabinet members. Therefore indicting HRC would lead to indicting OBAMA & his cabinet etc which could never happen. Remember he lied about knowing but that ultimately came out in the dump. Poof!
They also talks about the 7th floor being used to illegal spy on Trump, but was dismantled.
There are statute of limitations issues. Wray and Bill Barr allowed Comey et.al. to run out the clock, is my guess.Mr.Milkshake said:

Martin is interested in two particular episodes. One of the episodes most RedState readers are familiar with from Russiagate days. That is the persecution of George Papadopoulos and Zelinsky's lying to a federal judge just to send Papadopoulos to prison. "You then noted that [Professor Joseph] Mifsud was able to leave the United States and avoid a confrontation with authorities due to Papadopoulos' dishonesty," writes Martin. "Due to your false statements, it appears you sent an innocent man to jail in an attempt to advance the false narrative that the campaign of a serving President had colluded with Russia to win the presidency. It also appears you knew this narrative to be false."
More at the link.Quote:
Curiously, Martin is interested in another episode in Zelinsky's life. "We would also like to speak with you about your 2012 service to the Peking University Transnational School of Law, including what Chinese national contacts you made during that period and those you remained in contact with during the Mueller investigation and since."
We must assume that Martin knows much about Zelinsky's ties to China, otherwise he wouldn't have asked the question. We can also be sure that he has more substantive questions to ask than if he and Eric Swalwell were rogering Fang Fang at the same time. If the Chinese were embedded in Mueller's investigation, it potentially invalidates the Russiagate narrative as we know it, introduces another foreign player, and possibly leads in directions that Hillary Clinton and her cronies would rather not see it go.
Martin cites his authority for the investigation, President Trump's executive order titled "Ending The Weaponization Of The Federal Government." He also invites Zelinsky to "voluntarily meet with me and representatives of my office to discuss these discrepancies."
The wheels of justice turn slowly, the old adage goes, but grind exceedingly fine. Martin is going after Zelinsky because his goose is cooked. He submitted a false statement to try to get Roger Stone a 7-to-9-year sentence for being less than candid with Congress. It was a petty and vindictive act, much like lying to a judge to get Papadopoulos thrown in the slammer. Maybe we will eventually unravel the origins of Russiagate and take righteous vengeance on the perpetrators.
