That's exactly what he did to get this whole Russia gate thing going, leaking that there was an investigation into it. One that he had orchestrated.

He is still pushing the Russia Hoax as real. In the interview he still says Russia meddled in our election. Which maybe is bending the truth quite a bit since all they did was spend a little amount on ads on FB or some such. But Mueller Report stated that no Americans were in on it.

Thru 2024, per John Soloman below, who is a rare great journalist imho (just the news.com). He discusses (for the TLDW crowd) his reporting that there is a huge conspiracy case going back behind CrossFire Hurricane thru the election last year. And undoubtedly he's right that (some) acts in furtherance of this conspiracy happened outside of the greater Washington DC metropolis/cesspool.

I'm torn by the new revelations coming out. I'm happy about the possibility of there being consequences, yet pissed/frustrated about how much was allowed to slide. Watergate was a non-event compared to what was done to Trump.

How much were the 51 spies who lied motivated by needing the Democrats in control of the executive branch to let the SoL run?

What is sort of interesting, is how Watergate will be reflected on based on crossfire hurricane. It was the original coup to oust a leader the deep state was no longer comfortable with.

I have no doubt that is true (btw, Sullivan's wife is US Rep Maggie Goodlander, who is an up and coming NH politician now with a navy background who is going to try to move her way up the ladder over the next 10 years via intelligence community support, they met at a Munich security conference, LOL). Why would the IC report that sedition to the public, ever? The true, anti-American nature of our intelligence community, net, is quite obvious to readers of this thread.

And the lies/idiocy haven't stopped since 2016, or 2024, or this month/ever.

The CIA, and FBI should be abolished completely and replaced, given the 'Department of Education' or USAID treatment imho. The former two are vastly worse/more powerful forces of evil, lies and deception than the latter were.

Participants in the Sunday meeting involving intelligence officials and their Department of Justice counterparts also discussed declassifying investigative notes and depositions taken by Special Counsel John Durham during his probe of the CIA's and FBI's handling of the ICA, which relied in part on an anti-Trump dossier financed by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Strengthening Case for Conspiracy

The information could strengthen a criminal case against Obama's top intelligence officers, including former CIA Director John Brennan, who allegedly gave false testimony to Congress about their role in using the dossier in the ICA, according to the officials who requested anonymity to discuss sensitive information. Although the five-year statute of limitations on perjury means much of the testimony given about the ICA cannot be prosecuted, officials could still be charged with a conspiracy to commit perjury.

Sources said the meeting, which was arranged by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, was held in a secure room known as a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). The meeting also focused on the release of a highly restricted appendix to Durham's final report that details intelligence Brennan intercepted exposing a plan by the Clinton campaign in July 2016 to stir up an election scandal involving Trump and Russia to distract from her email investigation. Instead of investigating the Clinton plot, the FBI opened an investigation into Trump and his campaign advisers for allegedly colluding with Russia.
