Booster aborted the boostback burn. They weren't intending to land back at the base but were hoping for a controlled landing in the gulf. This will be a bit more of an uncontrolled landing.

Ship lost an engine but looks good.

I think the open truss design is integral to booster. It really needs to be. You don't want to be replacing rings every launch.

FYI... Since I don't Twitter I use one of the other streams on YouTube that co-stream .

NSF and Ellie NEVER shut the hell up and let you listen to SpaceX. I was leary of Everyday Astronaut since he's in Belgium, but by far still the best.

Good to know. Would much rather listen to the spaceX communications, NSF guys never stop talking and they think they are a lot funnier than they really are.
