Did you know we had US troops INSIDE Russia fighting to defend Russia?

Did you know we had volunteers military members fight inside China to defend China?

Did you know we tried to force Iran into a treaty pre WW2?

You've been propagandized by military industrial complex. The world isn't black and white like they make it out to be. Your views are specially crafted and curated to you. It's recency bias and lack of history too.

I've got some more that might bow your mind.

Did you know we fought a war with France?
And now we're Allies.

Did you know we dropped two automatic bombs on Japan and now we're allies?

Did you know we fought TWO massive wars against Germany and now we are allies?

Get this one…. Did you know we used to be colonies of the British Empire and fought a war against them for our independence…

Crazy right… instead of making peace we should stay enemies with all those nations according to you!!
All basic knowledge. None are the current situation or apply. It's truly amazing how people on here continue to post random stuff with no standing on the current situation or topic as some gotcha.

And then what? It's very likely if that were to happen Putin's replacement would be far worse.

There isn't going to be anyone worse than Putin.
Its like the first rule in life .

Doesnt matter how bad things are, they can always get worse.

It really does sound like you haven't looked into likely successors, which is unsurprising.
Quote:

When he does depart the Kremlin, Putin will have left a deep impression on Russian politics. The men likely to succeed him have attained their positions through patronage, fealty, corruption and a willingness to follow their leader, even when he takes the country into war. None are therefore likely to represent true change or any ideological shift. Putin may die, but Putinism will be harder to kill.
Medvedev et al are very unlikely to really change the course of government in Russia for 'the better' of American interests. Putin has actually faced the most serious domestic criticism for not more harshly conducting the war in what is left of Ukraine.

So you believe there is no hope for change in Russia? Get rid of enough of his inner circle and you may be surprised. There have been people stand up to him. Problem is they either fall out of windows or get poisoned. He's about as terrible of a human being this world has ever seen. At least there is comfort knowing that when his time comes he can hang out with Hitler in hell.

You're right. The current situation is far less of a hurdle compared to our past military engagements save for idiots gobbling global cia USAID funded propaganda like yourself. You can't see how this isn't just random historical basic knowledge because all you can do is think in terms of regurgitating USAID propaganda.

You have no response because you haven't been given a response in your programming.

Not surprising. Ukraine is rife with corruption. They've gotten better in certain areas in recent years but by no means clean. Their government is an outgrowth and continuation of the Russian tradition. Will take a lot of work and dedication by the right leadership to even scale it back to standard Eastern European levels of corruption, never mind US levels of corruption.

Zelenskyy wanted to come to the table but wasn't offered a seat

I don't think it's fair to say he wasn't offered a seat. Trump offered Z the drivers seat but he refused to agree to pay us back for the aid using the rare earth.
What fool what give up their biggest bargaining chip to the country signaling they'd rather support the country that invaded you?

If Ukraine is going to give those up, they have to get major arms assistance or a new security deal from western countries that might actually honor them since Trump has decided the US will not.

So we agree Zelensky was offered a seat?
No. He was never offered anything that made sense for them.

You can't offer someone a knife to kill themselves and then say you gave them a choice in life.

Looks like Zelensky changed his mind.

This is the only way to have a conversation with Teslag on this subject. You have to preface every post this way, or he WILL call you out.

Many do not share your sentiments on Putin. Some outright hope he prevails.

It's a reference to how Nortex' bread and butter is often linking twitter accounts that just post screenshots of articles rather than the articles themselves. Then when you finally dig the article up it's much different than what's presented.

The article itself is actually positive for the Ukrainians in terms of trying to stop corruption. Probably why the x poster only only included the screenshot.

Quote:

One suspect has been detained after attempting to flee the country, the SBU said. All those indicted in the fraud face up to 12 years in prison if convicted.
While Ukraine paid nearly the full cost for the transaction, the munitions were never received, the SBU report said. It was discovered that some funds were moved to accounts in Ukraine and the Balkans.
In December, Ukraine arrested another senior defense ministry official, stating that another $40 million had been embezzled in a similar artillery contract.
Ukraine has sought to show its commitment to combating corruption from within, as part of efforts to maintain trust that foreign aid will be used effectively, and advance its efforts to eventually join the European Union and NATO.

Quote:

"The Ministry of Defence continues to fight uncompromisingly against those who embezzle from weapons procurement. We have no place for corrupt officials." Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Dmytro Klymenkov said in a statement Saturday.
According to Ukraine's prosecutor general, the stolen funds have been seized and will be reclaimed for the defense budget.

I tried to star that OP but then realized I was one of the 118 that already did two years ago. Wish I could double star it:

Quote:

1. We provoked Russia by putting NATO on their doorstep. Imagine If Russia had bases in the Bahamas or Mexico.

2. Our corrupt politicians in congress and the Biden's use Ukraine as a money laundering factory stealing our tax dollars.

3. I'm tired of seeing tens of billions of our taxpayer dollars go to Ukraine only for the money to be skimmed by their corrupt bureaucrats and the weapons we purchase sold on the black market. Imagine what $100B could do for our infrastructure and military. How many state of the art roads, schools, and battleships could that build? An aircraft carrier costs $13B for reference.

4. Ukraine has no shot to win. Better for Russia to end it and end the human suffering going on.

5. There are actual Nazis in Ukrainian military. Didn't those guys lead to 60M deaths in WW2? Why are we giving them guns and money. No thanks .

The very same clowns that were jerking their puds at Russian tanks being dragged around by Ukranian tractors are now trying to justify the billions of stolen funds to "bolster democracy" and prevent russia from encroaching further.

Absolutely hysterical.

Pick a lane. They're either an existential threat to Europe or they are a brokedick clown army being punked by Mr Bean and a nation of farmers. We shouldn't be paying for it either way, but it can't be both.

Let Putin put a single fingernail into Poland and see what happens.

Poland was flipped to a leftist government by USAID meddling years ago. They've most recently been taking out justices unconstitutionally who meddle in their censorship/tyranny over opposition/conservatives (PiS party). This is unsurprising. The progressive-globalists have a good shot at the presidency there in May, too.

Zelensky himself, and the Kiev regime writ large have a lengthy history of subterfuge vs. the US/Trump himself.

Quote:

Trump has every reason to distrust Ukrainethe only surprise is that he's still willing to talk to them at all. Here are some of the things they did to him:

Ukraine leaked a fraudulent ledger to take out Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort
Ukraine's president snickered on the phone with Joe Biden while taking credit for taking out Manafort
Ukraine's embassy in Washington D.C. colluded with a Democratic Party operative to smear Trump
Ukraine's interior minister called Trump a 'dangerous misfit,' a 'clown,' and 'an even bigger danger to the U.S. than terrorism'
Ukraine's prime minister claimed Trump 'challenged the very values of the free world'
Ukraine's ambassador published an anti-Trump op-ed
Zelensky declared, 'I think that Donald Trump doesn't know Putin'
Zelensky called Trump's rhetoric 'very dangerous'
Zelensky insisted Trump 'doesn't really know how to stop the war'
Zelensky claimed Trump lives in a Russian 'disinformation space'
Zelensky outright accused Trump of supporting Putin
Zelensky dismissed J.D. Vance as 'too radical' and 'not to be taken seriously'
True.

Just like a liberal democrat, Zelensky proved to be an inch- deep thinker when he kept sparring with Trump over the peace talks with Russia. With mineral rights in hand Trump now has a stake at the table with Putin. Trump had no reason to like Ukraine any more than he did russia. Both tried to undermine his 2016 Campaign with their nazi friends the liberal swamp rats in DC. So now it's game on, and we will see how the chips fall.
