Agreed, but DM isn't known for having even marginal editors. They are excellent for unbiased coverage of a multitude of stories, especially ones that our MSM ignore.

I doubt they'll be prosecuted as a hate crime, but I hope the feds can pick it up and charge them with that. Let Jay and Silent Bob have 20 yrs in Federal prison to write the movie script of their comeback as old men.

I have long considered "hat crimes" to be nothing more than a leftist way to enhance penalties for doing something they didn't like. Sometimes, the "something they didn't like" isn't necessarily illegal.

I don't care whether they are on the left or the right, no hate crimes should even exist.

If you were to bring hate crime charges up on these people, then you are doing everything you can to legitimatize their use by the left to prosecute people for not being politically correct.

We need to eliminate all hate crimes and all political correctness.
