Biden had 4 years to release this stuff. Why didn't the DOJ do its job?

Why do people keep parroting this every few pages?

They are all corrupt.

But obviously there is a heightened level of intrigue under the Trump admin because:
- Trump talked about releasing it on the campaign trail.
- His son clamored for the release of the files in 2024.
- JD Vance discussed it multiple times after being named the VP nominee and said that they should be released.
- Kash Patel fueled conspiracies on his podcast.
- Dan Bongino fueled conspiracies on his podcast.
- Pam Bondi said that she had a list of names on her desk.
- Then on top of all of that, the massive flip-flopping in rhetoric by the administration over the course of the last year.

If Biden's administration had conducted themselves similarly, there would have been far more public pressure back then. Then, on top of that, people who have supported Trump (like myself) likely had far more faith in the Trump admin to be transparent than the Biden admin and are obviously letdown and outspoken about it.

Well stated and this is my position as well. Bondi's balk has made everything 10x worse. She's either wholly incompetent or there was a last minute change in the political calculation of releasing everything.


Or both….

The current admin (the GOP) is actively doing a huge coverup of immense crimes and corruption, which is the topic of this thread. I am not sure why you lamented that the party might lose in the midterms

Community service for destroying classified information. More than Trump and Biden and Hillary got I guess. But any defense contractor employee is fired if they mislabel classified information. I genuinely hate our government officials. They are all traitors save a very select few. And you even have to question why they didn't speak up sooner.
