What defines a LEO is not the badge nor the letters, it's what they have been dutifully charged to prosecute regarding the laws.
Portland (Sept. 28) — Leftists outside the ICE facility are enraged to see a black man wearing a MAGA hat and holding an American flag. The far-left insurrections want to see the U.S. government toppled. Video by @hunnybadgermom: pic.twitter.com/td4moDhyel

What?
ICE enforces immigration.
The Natty Guard is there to protect fed property. I guess read the Sec. of War memo. The scope is clear.
Edit, here, I'll quote it for you:Quote:

They aren't ad-hoc ICE, homie. I stand by my original comment. It's been chill. Seems wasteful.
Hero showed up to Portland ICE on Sunday night wearing his MAGA hat and carrying an American flag to show his support for reporter Katie Daviscourt who was getting harassed and threatened by Antifa.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! An Antifa thug threatened to “smoke” reporter Nick Shirley in Portland, so a DHS sniper aimed a laser sight directly at the thug’s chest

The Antifa clown then got spooked and backed off.
He was almost served the ultimate FAFO!

A text exchange between the governor and President Trump regarding calling in of the National Guard. "I notified you to get things in order, and you didn't. They attacked our ICE Patriots last night, and at other times. If you get your State in order, we don't come in, but… pic.twitter.com/xfgiMW4x2i

I work in a federal building in downtown Portland. Don't remember the last time I saw a protestor other than occasional news clips of the 20 or showing up to the ICE building at night. Which is not in the middle of downtown. There are no fires, no war zones. Just people enjoying the city. I'm down here 40+ hours/week and don't think twice about my safety.
Yes, there are homeless people. Yes, there's a block or two I wouldn't walk alone on in the middle of the night. Show me a major city that doesn't have that. But a war zone that requires the national guard?? That's laughable and frankly embarrassing to hear the complete lies being reiterated over and over by the President.

In 2020? Yes. Not sure what that has to do with justifying the national guard today, though.
And to the post above, yes there are homeless. Yes Chinatown is a **** hole. Chinatown was a **** hole in 2005 when I moved here. But if our bar for deploying the national guard is homeless people and a bad part of town, then say that.
But that's not what's being said. What's being said is our city is a war zone with fires burning everywhere which is so absurd, im struggling to comprehend that.

Many people may say "downtown Houston is not that bad, just watch yourself" and never venture to the east side Buffalo Bayou or ride their bikes through Sunnsyside on a Saturday afternoon.
Point is you may not live there or go there but there are still people there who deserve to be safe, to pursue life liberty and happiness without vomit, ****, needles, panhandlers, rapists and murderers having the run of things.
Go speak to the national guard and ask them what they are seeing.

Do you lactually live in the city and interact with the filth or do you live outside of it and enjoy the beautiful landscape while avoiding the antifa breeding grounds?

I live 10 mins from downtown and work in the middle of downtown 5 days a week. I know people are going to believe what they want to believe. All I can say is I've been here 20 years. Raising my kids here. 2020-2021 was an absolute ****show. We are not that Portland anymore.

The way things are trending in this country, would it surprise anyone that there will be a shooting that is aimed at ICE officers focusing on Portland?
The answer is obviously No.
Depending on how long ICE does their thing in Portland, I would say that a targeted shooting is likely to happen.
Now, when it does, how will our leaders react?
I really do not understand why they allow these activists to be standing within a 3 block radius, much less blocking the entrance to the federal facilities. We need to put up barriers and when crossed they get arrested immediately. Federal crimes. Make these pucks feel the process. 2nd violation a mandatory 3 year stent.
