Were these "fake" electors present that day, and did anyone try to force them in to cast their "fake" votes?

No to both. They had the paperwork ready to go as alternate slates available if needed. (Same thing that was done in Jan 1961 with Kennedy/Nixon.)

John Eastman, the respected Con Law professor, was the one who researched how the Electoral Count Act was invoked and used historically and saw the use of alternate slates of electors historically. Eastman was correct, of course nd that's why the Dems amended the Electoral Count Act after Jan 6th. (It is still unconstitutional, but I digress.)

But just these allegations were sufficient to take Eastman down, lost his job and his law license, not mention a crap ton of money in defense fees.

How do we solve the root of the problem?

The Left accuses the Right of being guilty of the things that only the Left is doing…

How do we fix that?

IDK, to be honest. Start impeaching and removing OOC federal judges? Politically difficult if not impossible.

A lot of the funding for these groups such as the 65 Project, designed solely to attack and disbar attorneys who deigned to represent an opposite viewpoint and range of clients has likely been dinged by the fallout from USAID and other DOGE cuts but there is still too much dark money from these foundations like Arabella (sp?) and of course Soros backed organizations.

Can those accurately and more importantly be legally defined as a criminal enterprise? RICO their butts? Again very hard case to make, in my view.

You are getting to my point…

I don't believe there is a civil way to do it…

I didn't read the whole thread, but Ted Cruz said that he was upset he was not included in the spying, but found out that all the Senators on the list have Verizon. AT&T refused to turn over his phone records.

So if Trump had magically won in 2020, they were going to use Russian Collusion against him again with "low confidence" assessments.

Really ethical folks, Chris Wray and co. were.

Spied or investigated?

Spied under a false claim of investigations. There were no predicates for such investigations.

Impose Heinleinian meritocracy. But that is not feasible yet. Even the military has been torn down and in need of rebuild. The 46* admin probably should have been arrested in 2021 for sedition against the 45 admin. It was a true moment rating a reboot. But it seems to have worked out with Trump not being able to be suppressed.

I saw that story yesterday as well. As often as I have seen AT&T screw things up the last couple of decades, I never thought I would say, "Good for AT&T"

A Parthian gesture of independence from old Ma Bell, it would seem. Wonder how many 20 somethings know that phase of them?

My mother worked for SW Bell for about 20 years. We heard the term pretty often. She was an administrative assistant for the first 15 or so years. When the divestiture happened in the 1980s, she ended up getting shuffled into a sales job with AT&T which was a bad fit and she hated. By that point the consolidation, downsizing, and layoffs resulting from the divestiture had created a lot of cutthroat activity and hard feelings. It became an awful place to work, and mom took an early retirement package when it was offered.

Small world, My FIL worked at Bell Labs/Bellcore up in New Jersey around the same time. His commentary was that a lot of the spinoffs "kept their bell-shaped heads" which always made me laugh. From the sound of it, his experience of the divestiture was somewhat the same.

The irony of SWB purchasing AT&T two decades later was not lost on me.

Well well well…… interesting turn of events

"The attempted interview began at approximately 7:20 am and was approximately 44 minutes in length. The voluntary non-custodial interview of TABAS was surreptitiously recorded by the interviewing agents utilizing two covert recording devices that were secured on the persons of the interviewing agents. The resulting audio recordings were downloaded and submitted to the FBI's ELSUR Unit for evidentiary storage. ...The following is an interview summary. It is not intended to be a verbatim account and does not memorialize all statements made during the interview. The recording captures the actual words spoken. "

Now, why is that interesting? IT IS A VIOLATION OF PA LAW! PA is a two-party consent state -and NO ONE can be recorded without their knowledge or consent. recordinglaw.com/party-two-part… The names of the lawless FBI Agents are redacted. Those names need to be PUBLISHED and they need to be fired, disciplined, and Lawrence (who is a friend of mine) needs to sue them for illegally recording his VOLUNTARY conversation with them. @AAGDhillon @EdMartinDOJ @mrddmia @BasedMikeLee @SidneyPowell1 @JackPosobiec @bennyjohnson @ItsYourGov @MegynKellyShow @JudicialWatch @TomFitton

I worked for WorldCom during the crazy telecom era. Bell Atlantic merged with NYNEX, and then purchased GTE, and became Verizon; the largest telecommunications company in the U.S. When WorldCom's bid for Sprint was subsequently denied by the Feds because we would be "too big", the wheels came off WCOM and we were acquired by Verizon. Payoffs payoff. I remained a WCOM/Verizon customer since but am switching this weekend…
