People who vote for the party of transing kids, degeneracy, debauchery, MAPs, two spirit, weird kink, satanic, sacrilegious sicko stuff are really concerned about the woman Paxton was with when estranged from his wife.

You better vote for a communist for senator because Ken Paxton's choice of partner! Also we are compassionate and accepting of everyone!

No one here is saying this.

Paxton has done alot more than dingle his wee wee in other women.

It's a sad state of affairs when you would rather vote for the party rather than the candidate. Why bother voting in the primary? Let the PARTY decide who should represent them.

Not in a general election, especially when it comes to legislative bodies where the majority party controls the committees, sets the agenda, decides what gets voted on or not, or can impeach the chief executive. In context, it is objectively better to vote for people like Cornyn, no matter how bad he is, over any Democrat.

What the hell?? Maybe for you Democrats it doesn't matter because your backroom party leadership handpicks the candidates and rigs the primaries so that your votes don't matter.

In the Republican party, however, we voters have increasingly been taking on our corrupt establishment leadership in the primaries and winning... not always, but sometimes and more than ever before... case in point, President Trump, and when we are successful in the primaries, it means we don't have to hold our noses and vote for people like Cornyn in the general election.

Talarico is Beto light. He has no problem skirting the truth and making barely true claims. I say barely true because he doesn't tell the rest of the story. He also has some bad skeletons. He should understand what a FOIA is.

Told you skeletons. This is just the start. I know one poster loves the guy but he is a tool.

What about after your voting life? That's when the D's really gain votes.

Here's Cornyn's resume. Someone else can post Paxton's.

The gun issue aside (regarding Cornyn):
CORNYN: According to www.govtrack.us, here are statistics that cover Cornyn's record during the 118th Congress
(Jan. 3, 2023-Jan. 3, 2025) and compare him to 99 other senators also serving at the end of the session.
Last updated on Feb. 13, 2025.
Got their bills out of committee the most often compared to other Senate Republicans. Most bills and resolutions languish in committee without any action. Cornyn introduced 43 bills in the 118th Congress that got past committee and to the floor for consideration.
Got influential cosponsors the most often compared to other Senate Republicans. 22 of Cornyn's bills and resolutions in the 118th Congress had a cosponsor who was a chair or ranking member of a committee that the bill was referred to. Getting support from committee leaders on relevant committees is a crucial step in moving legislation forward.
Got bipartisan cosponsors on the most bills compared to other Senate Republicans. In this era of partisanship, it is important to see Members of Congress working across the aisle. 98 of Cornyn's 118 bills and resolutions had a cosponsor from a different political party than the party Cornyn caucused with in the 118th Congress.
Ranked the top leader compared to other Senate Republicans. Our unique leadership analysis looks at who is cosponsoring whose bills. A higher score shows a greater ability to get cosponsors on bills.
. Wrote the 2nd most laws compared to All Senators. Cornyn introduced 19 bills that became law, including via incorporation into other measures, in the 118th Congress. Keep in mind that it takes a law to repeal a law. Very few bills ever become law.
Got the 2nd most cosponsors on their bills compared to other Senate Republicans. Cornyn's bills and resolutions had 755 cosponsors in the 118th Congress. Securing cosponsors is an important part of getting support for a bill, although having more cosponsors does not always mean a bill will get a vote.
Got bicameral support on the 5th most bills compared to other Senate Republicans (tied with 1 other).
The House and Senate often work on the same issue simultaneously
introducing companion bills in each chamber. 36 of Cornyn's bills and resolutions had a companion bill in the House. Working with a sponsor in the other chamber makes a bill more likely to be passed by both the House and Senate.
Cosponsored the 11th most bills compared to Senate Republicans.
Cornyn cosponsored 440 bills and resolutions introduced by other Members of Congress. Co-sponsorship shows a willingness to work with others to advance policy goals.
Introduced the 12th most bills compared to All Senators.
Cornyn introduced 118 bills and resolutions in the 118th Congress.
Ranked 12th most politically right compared to all others Serving 10+ Years. Our unique ideology analysis assigns a score to Members of Congress according to their legislative behavior by how similar the pattern of bills and resolutions they cosponsor are to other Members of Congress.
Joined bipartisan bills the 16th most often compared to All Senators. In this era of partisanship, it is encouraging to see Members of Congress working across the aisle. Of the 440 bills that Cornyn cosponsored, 39% were introduced by a legislator who was not a Republican.

If there is one thing Kenny is an expert on, it's lying.

Can you prove that?

Paxton is a lying cheating d bag. This is widely accepted.
If you're saying it, he must be a saint. I'll vote for him again.

Cornyn has very openly stood for nothing. He's never leading the way in anything of substance. Texas deserves much better. **** Cornyn.

Being bipartisan might be great for whatever AI platform you used to drag up that info, but I don't want my Texas Senator working with dems to dilute the conservative platform. Also, we don't need more laws. Judging a politician by how many new laws he created is a very progressive measurement. I want bills that reduce laws and regulations

The only current bipartisan Democrat is John Fetterman. Republicans working with democrats is a terrible thing and has had awful consequences for this nation.

Be careful what you wish for. I'd love Paxton but much riskier than Cornyn.
