This is very interesting:
Quote:

10:30 PM ET: Chinese officials arrive in Venezuela to meet with President Maduro

This morning DJT promised to continue the flow of oil to China.

Chinese cooperation? This could be part of DJT's ongoing "deal making" with China.

Has that China oil comment been validated? That originally came from some random X post.

No. and upon re-reading it looks like they "arrived in Venezuela to meet with Maduro", not "met with Maduro", so...

I have my doubts too. Trump may be giving some lip service but China does not need to be that involved in VZ and certainly not have unfettered access to their oil.

Oil in ground does NOT equal cash in bank.

Reserves calculations directly relate to valuation and serve as the primary mechanism for financing though. If this was your typical m&a deal, it would definitely equate to cash in the bank.

It's worse to piss off anybody and everybody who would stand up before Delta even got the chance to act

Progressive Democrats are more of a threat to our way of life than Russia, instead lets bomb Mexico.

You will have to ask the people in charge. But the people on the ground are happy he is gone.

Good move, but, if those contractors are killed, does that mean our military responds by putting boots on the ground?

I would presume this would mean the opposite. Would allow for kinetic action without having to commit actual boots on the ground. But I'm guessing.

LOL. Now? American security companies have better toys than a majority of the worlds militaries.

My concern is if they get wiped out because he locals (cartels, etc. ) don't like them in their backyard, do we just shrug or shoulders and go, "well we tried," or would their deaths be a good excuse for us to go in, boots on the ground, guns blazing?

Not sure. I would look at past operations with Blackwater (as an example) to determine what we've done when BW may have been on the bad end of an operation.

I'm assuming that private contractors are going to have more leeway to crack skulls than the official military would and considering these guys are all ex-soldiers and many of them ex-spec ops I wouldn't want to f* with them if they do have that leeway.

Again, I'm guessing. I also started watching The Terminal List last night, so I'm a bit of an expert on this topic now.

Blackwater is just the one we've heard of.
