Approximately 160 financial firms have moved out of NYC since 2019. They are moving out of California too. The primary destinations are Dallas and Miami. Money goes where it's treated the best. Also, anyone with any sense doesn't want to live in a third world ****hole.

-you can't judge policy effectiveness in just one term

-we didn't go far enough so it wasn't real socialism

How are you going to do this when Democrats and Commies mostly congregate in the big cities? You are never going to change the tune of most of these people. They are a permanent underclass of intellectual morons. You would have to forcibly disperse Democrats throughout the country to dilute their voting power. NYC is will be a fascinating litmus test from a political standpoint because if he can pull off half of what he wants to do then you will see failure from it. It's guaranteed. If the people don't' change their tunes out of that, then there is nothing that will.

The problem is that the Corporations for the most part do not flee. Wall Street doesn't seem to ever flee. So to them it's just false threats that never ever materialize. Maybe if it did you would have fewer idiots voting for these people.

Knowing the history of corruption in NYC (and NJ), it will be interesting to see how a young inexperienced mayor will be able to get things done. Will he be answering to higher powers who will have put him in the office? Will Albany have enough power to override some of the dumb plans?

Should he win, I can't see a single topic where the city will get better. I could see the muslim population increasing, and therefore start or keep infiltrating local gov't, police, and the education system. A radical muslim being elected the MAYOR OF NYC is something even bin laden couldn't dream up.

If every Jew gets out and votes the right way, he will lose. But voter turnout for mayoral elections is an abysmal 20% or so. If he gets elected, they will have no one to blame but themselves.

How long will it take for people motivated by financial incentives to move in and potentially disrupt or negatively impact the new environment where the money is directed.

I'm sure some companies and high net worth individuals will leave but I think the total number will be lower than you think. Money moves where it's treated best but a lot of people have their whole identity wrapped up in being from New York.

I've heard that. Hopefully this has raised awareness of the abuse and fraud associated with the program and something will be done about it. Government assistance programs are meant to be bridges not landing spots.
