Vancouver is pure insanity. Supposedly dropping like a rock now, finally.

Buyers market if you want to drop $800K on an apartment in a country/area that just grew its population by 30 percent via Asian/Indian imports the past decade. It actually is/was beautiful country, as with California.

I played golf with a guy from Calgary last weekend. He was in oil & gas. We talked about golf, hockey, etc. during our round. He didn't speak highly of Canada as a whole (especially British Columbia and Quebec), but he loved Alberta. I told him that sounded like many Texans.

I spent a year in Calgary for work. It's 100% Houston North. Great city, but holy crap it was cold riding the train into downtown in Winter!

The Canucks may put up a fight. I joked with a lady on our hike this morning, hailing from Toronto, if she was excited about becoming the 51st state.

You would have thought I threatened to pillage their villages and rape their women. Event after assuring them that neither are very attractive versus what we have in the US, she clammed up and refused to speak.

I ordered a lemon martini for her husband and gave him a razor to shave his neck beard.

Maybe Alberta some day but there are a lot of parts of Canada which I want no part of.

Canada is just another Nato member-country that is more of a threat to the US than an ally, in many more ways than one.

If we annex them, one of the conditions should be immediate deportation to home country for all those who do not agree to swear total allegiance to the US. Anyone choosing to remain will be under a probationary status of 5 years before being able to vote or having other full rights as citizens.

All terrorists and former terrorists can eat lead or move to Gitma. We want the land and the resources. Any indigenous populations are unwelcome unless they can behave.
