Of course, we must start with a little drama since our dems are already doing their best to be good democrats and claiming they need extended hours for voting due to confusion.

Dallas County won't extend voting hours despite calls from Crockett, Talarico campaigns

Quote:

After calls from the Crockett and Talarico campaigns to extend voting hours due to confusion surrounding new precinct rules for this primary election, Dallas County Elections said voting hours will not be extended unless a judge orders it.

The department acknowledged voting issues and confusion on Tuesday and told CBS News Texas it understands the request to keep polls open later, but that it doesn't believe the voting issues are widespread.

They are probably feeling things out to see if it will work in the general. "We need more time", while the mystery ballots show up out of thin air in dirty democrat districts.

If I'm reading this correctly...

During early voting, you could vote at any polling location in your county.

On election day, you can only vote at your precinct poll.

When you sign in you chose if you want to vote either Democrat or Republican.

No I voted by my office in Harris county today, far from my home polling station. It's open polling just like during early voting.

All of these rules and decisions… clearly suppressing votes of those who can't read nor score over a 1000 on the SAT.

That rule might be county specific.

This is for Waller County (it's a pdf so I don't know how to provide a proper link):

The rule is different for Williamson and Dallas counties

It's been that way for a while.

Not in Dallas County. That's the entire point of the news video. It's not like this is some big Dem conspiracy to test ways to cheat the system. Voters were ill informed that they had to vote at their home precincts. That's it. Nothing nefarious.

Here's Harris County, so yes, it is county specific:
Quote:

Election Day

Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. statewide on Tuesday, March 3. As long as a voter is in line at a polling location by 7 p.m., they will be allowed to vote.

As with early voting, some Houston-area counties allow voters to cast ballots at any polling location within their jurisdiction, whereas others require voters to vote in their home precincts. Harris County allows voters to cast ballots at any of its 200-plus polling locations on Election Day.

How? It's been that way for a while in my county. If you early vote, you can vote anywhere in the county. If you vote on election day, you've got to vote where you live. Ill informed people is a poor excuse, but I expect nothing less from democrat voters.

If voting is so important to you, I'd suggest knowing how, when and where to vote. Just my 2 cents.

Because it's a new rule this year for Dallas county. Previously you could vote at any precinct

Well maybe the people of Dallas county should pay attention. As the poster above stated, if they care about voting, they would make the effort to find out that info ahead of time.

I don't disagree. They have had plenty of time to figure this out.

But it's a new rule there. That's the point or the thread. Everyone saying it's been that way for awhile is ill informed.

Dallas and Williamson County decided to have the Democrat and Republican primaries at DIFFERENT locations. That's the problem. They are the only two counties, per Fox4, that chose to do this. Also, per the same news station, either party could request it and it was a done deal.

So Crockett is blaming the Republicans for it, instead of blaming her own party for choosing it, for not communicating to their constituents, and for having the dumbest block of constituents around.

The Fox4 election commentators kept saying over and over "we told you so", that they've been trying to communicate to the public for weeks to be aware of this.

It was a dumb decision because it was going to confuse the dumb asses and it was so poorly communicated. Either Crockett is right that this was a conspiracy on the part of the republicans, which would be somewhat genius on their part if true, or it's more than likely just simple Democratic Party ineptitude. It's hilarious watching left leaning news commentators kind of roll their eyes at Jasmine's accusations.

Okay, that's fair to say that it's a new rule there. I still have zero sympathy for Dallas county voters. They should pay attention.

And they take away is that people showing up at the wrong precinct are "not being allowed vote". I'm sure this is after being informed of their correct voting location by the election staff.

Some people went to their polling location, were told to go to a different polling location, went there, and were sent back to the original polling location, which was the correct location to begin with. Some of this does look like actual poll worker incompetence, not some weird conspiracy.

This is 100% correct. I found this out one year when I was working out of town(and staying at a hotel there) across the county. The ladies told me that I couldn't vote there on election day(only during early voting) and I ended up having to drive back home to go vote. I was young and didn't know, but had it been late in the day, I wouldn't have been able to vote because nobody would have held things up or extended hours.
