The Democrat primaries in Dallas county are staying open later because they filed a petition with the court to ask for it. The republicans did not so theirs aren't staying open.

In Dallas county primaries for democrats and republicans are held at separation polling locations.

I did it once, my husband and I voted for Hillary over Obama in the Brazoria County primary. I had to stand in that line, talk to democrats, and it almost did me in. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

We both voted for Paxton today. We live in Galveston county now.
