Well Teixeira wins the 21st Congressional District (Texas). All I know about the guy who is going to be my next Representative in Congress is that he is "endorsed by Trump, a Christian, a conservative, and a family man". He's a MLB hero, I hear. What I know factually is that he is an out-of-stater. He isn't even a resident of the 21st - but has said he is building a home in Dripping Springs. So, he couldn't vote for himself. His wife could not vote for him.

What a system we have. He backs the President. I'm more interested in how he'll represent me and the residents in the all counties surrounding Kerr County - that are not part of the population dense areas near Austin and the north side of San Antonio.

He may be great. All I know is that he is wealthy, was great in MLB, has lived in the big city all the time, and is... a carpetbagger.

Cornyn can reject the base's demands now for the next 6 years. He will die in office and use his next 6 year term to show he's actually moderate. He will never face another election after November.

Tony Gonzales was the first example of why a Trump endorsement doesn't mean squat to me. I like Trump, but he's not good at picking guys to endorse. Tony originally ran as a Trump endorsed "conservative". I voted for his opponent, who was a real conservative, in the primary. Tony won though, and as soon as he got up to Washington, he went in with the democrats on the January 6th stuff. Classic backstabbing RINO.

Not as many angry old white dudes in CD-23 like there are in the Woodlands. Or, maybe if Herrera was a stronger candidate like Toth....

The man already **** all over the Christian. Whether it's Paxton or Cornyn, all they need to do is keeping running the clips of what he has said over the years.

My personal favorite while he was defending ****** kids in sports.

Sheets defeats Miller and we will have a new Ag Commissioner. Good riddance.
I find it interesting that the primary reason Miller lost was because of his ethics, but that same issue didn't matter when it came to Paxton.
John Carter wins his primary against a crowded field of non-contenders. Valentina Gomez came in second, so she can say she's improved her standing with conservatives when she moves on to another district to keep running her con game.

IS Valentina Gomez's occupation just to permanently run for some type of elected office and have the contributions fund her life?

How do I know you didn't try to vote in Dallas County yesterday....

Yesterday was ****show, bipartisan. And the insanity was caused by Allen West, perhaps the most incompetent Party Chair out there.

The judge screwed up by not simply making it all polling locations, but I'm not sure if he was able to do honestly.

Not surprised he won, but Talerico is the fakiest fakerson I've ever seen. He just says Christian-sounding things, and the NPCs lap it up.

He's the political version of Joel Osteen...though I guess Osteen fills an arena with uninformed people as well.

The best thing about democrats thinking they have a chance in Texas is they continuously pour money into these races that could be used in winnable races elsewhere.
