Been listening to Tucker for almost 15 years regularly. I cancelled today. The final straw was downplaying how Muslims view Christ.

Politics are whatever, but Muslims are in open rebellion against God and all that is good. Muslims are a million times more dangerous than an atheist or humanist. This is an evil, warmongering death cult, and having an open mind is one thing, kowtowing another.

Feeling conflicted about this.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

I hear you, but I would push back against this comparison. Moscow IS a great city and, put side by side with New York, LOOKS and FEELS better. Tucker was commenting on the cleanliness of the subway, the order of the people - things he's also said about Japan, numerous times.

I didn't see that as ass kissing, I saw it as him saying why in the world is Moscow cleaner and safer than New York when we supposedly won the Cold War? To me, that's a thought provoking question.

Nothing about Islam provokes my thoughts other than it needs to be completely relegated to the dustbin of history, which I doubt, because I'm sure that evil cult has a role to play in the end times.

Moscow is a clean city for the same reason other oppressive regimes have clean cities. New York is a dirty city because liberalism has promulgated the false claim that freedom means that we cannot have any standards and it's actually compassionate not to prevent people from degrading themselves and living in filth.

The problem with Tucker raving about Moscow is he's doing it in a manner that's intended to undermine your pride in America. We can agree that there's no good reason for New York to be run the way it is run. It becomes a problem when you begin insinuating that the solution is to emulate an oppressive oligarchy. It's the same sleight of hand that he used when he went to their store and said how cheap it was to buy groceries without commenting on the wages the average citizen of Moscow takes home.

Japan is a completely different situation.

I want cleaner cities. I would rather have dirty cities than become Russia. Tucker is making a false case, and he knows it.

It's a shallow analysis on his part. Both of them have the foundational principle of "As long as you do what you're told, it's great". How a country treats those who disagree with it is just as important as how it treats those who comply.

Won't surprise any actual Christians if he does that.

He claims to be episcopalian. With very few exceptions today, that means "not religious." It is just a step above UCC.
