Once again an example of Trump trying too hard with sarcasm and saying things he should keep in his head…

…while at the same time others overreacting on the opposite side of the spectrum trying to be psychologists and frame it as the walls are closing in.

Both things can be true and we'll still be ok.

This thread was started because this is a strange message on a war that was partly sold as freeing the Iranian people.

If we are blasting Iran back to the Stone Age let's nuke that mountain bunker and not ***** foot around with it any longer.

Taking out civilian infrastructure to win the hearts and minds of 90 million people most likely won't be successful and the US taxpayer will be paying to rebuild it anyway.

Iran has lots of oil that can be sold to rebuild.

Will MAGA protect, handwave, and even justify Trump's diminishing mental capacity similar to what the Democrats did with Biden?

I woke up happy that we did not have the moron Kamala as President this morning. Iran would have nuclear weapons and carrying out all sorts of terroristic threats. And even activating terror cells allowed in by the puppet Biden.

Thank you Jesus! Thank God for Trump saving us from the Quisling Democrats.

Obviously you have forgotten the lesson of Iraq

Once you lose control and looters destroy valuable equipment for example a 50hp electric to get $25 worth of copper that is Inside
The rebuild becomes very complicated

Trump's position this morning, according to 'sources', is that he believes all oil in Iran now belongs to the United States. The answer will land somewhere in the middle but using their oil to help them rebuild, recover and ideally to pay us back for some airplanes and munitions expended. Pipe dreams for sure, but pipes and oil go hand in hand.

Take it to the Trump's Dementia (sorry Diminished Mental Capacity) Thread and post your evidence of this decline.

Personally, my observation is that both his intellect and his elbows are sharpening. Beware.

BTW, from Grok+:

Diminished mental capacity in older people is most commonly referred to in medical contexts as dementia (when severe enough to interfere with daily life) or mild cognitive impairment (MCI) (when milder and not yet disrupting independence).

Cool we can call it MCI if you're more comfortable with that verbiage.

You either play to win or don't, we are in this and I'd like to win. Trump has always said crazy stuff on occasion, I don't know why people are clutching pearls unless they hate Trump more than they hate their country. It's a binary choice, you either support Trump and the US Military in trying to stop a terrorist regime or you support the Democrats and those who would like us to lose. Pick a side.

Many people would rather lose with someone "polished" and "statesmen like" than win with a rogue.

What exactly are we winning? Inflation is still going. Gas prices are up. We are at the early stages of a quagmire. We still have no idea how many illegals are in the country. Our elites remain unaccountable.

What's the winning? Did we pwn the libs?

Sometimes it's just the simple answer in that he only cares about his self-aggrandizement and enriching himself (along with the obvious dementia).

Dumb. As someone who dealt directly with dementia for years in our family, you don't know what you are talking about.

Just because Trump says bombastic things doesn't mean he has dementia. This is who he is and he's been this way for decades.

Wasn't claiming it was binary as I'm pretty well versed in it. Since you are the one claiming he "obviously" has dementia, then logically you are saying he's closer to the 100% end of the scale.

You might need to check your own TDS because I think you may be on the heavily afflicted end of that scale.

He's always been a bombastic, bull in the china shop person.

His posts seem more out there than usual because he damn well knows he's running out of time with this operation. He has until end of month to get this thing wrapped up plus the longer it goes the less public support he will have. It baffles me why everyone just keeps ignoring that reality.

Proving my point.

Legal: He had 60 days when he started this to get it done. He requires Congress to go any further as of around May 1. I realize many on here do not want to acknowledge that reality and/or think it doesn't mean anything, but his timelines and frequent comments about wrapping this up are directly in line with that 60 days.

Political: the populace can turn on you on a dime when it comes to war making and he could (already has?) hampered mid-term chances for R's.

Try in that entire 1 hour speech something that is not rambling. .

Or watch his 2-3 minute digression on black sharpies with almost real gold lettering on it.
