This is a common misconception.

I appreciate the perspective, but from a biblical standpoint, the "different directors" analogy doesn't quite fit because the scripts themselves actually contradict one another on the most important point: who Jesus is.
In the Bible, Jesus doesn't leave it up to our personal preference or "flavor."

He made a very exclusive claim in John 14:6 (KJV): "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man commeth unto the Father, but by me."

The Amplified Bible (AMP) makes it even clearer, saying: "No one comes to the Father except through Me."

If different religions were just different directors of the same movie, they would agree on the ending. But the Bible teaches that our eternal destination is determined specifically by our relationship with Jesus Christ as the Son of God. It isn't about picking a flavor that suits us; it's about responding to the truth of who He is. I say this with love because, in the Christian faith, the "movie" isn't just a story, it's a matter of eternal life based on that one specific belief.


Well stated. Everyone is free to choose what they believe - including allah, buddah, etc.

But there is absolutley no way to square allah with the God of the Bible without completely ignoring both the Koran and the Bible (both Old and New Testament).
