Have refrained from commenting thus far but I think much like other former Soviet satellites, they find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard space. That is the EU/IMF and then Russia. EU is not about trade anymore. Far from it. And the IMF will do the EU's bidding to punish those countries by withholding loans and other assistance to them.

Meanwhile, Russia is sitting there saying they will help. Orban did not accede to EU demands to allow unlimited migrants into and to remain in their country. He also promoted native Hungarians to have more children, providing incentives to reverse those potential demographics. EU wanted globalist's goals, a takeover and loss of nationality..

The EU was proceeded by the Common Market. It was a trade organization that could negotiate as a block for better terms. That was it.

That is not what the EU morphed into. Trade is not remotely close to being a priority. It is now an unelected government. With economic enforcement powers to sanction any member who does not conform to their demands.

One problem the West is currently facing is that there just aren't many genuinely "good" men who have both the desire to enter politics AND have the stomach to enact the changes needed to preserve the civilization.
