What we have here is a 4 page list of complete dumbasses who fall for anything if they think it embarrasses Hegseth or Trump.
Hegseth knows what it is...
How is it a psyop?
It is still a misquoted Bible verse from Pulp Fiction that was reappropriated by CSAR guys.
It is still dumb that a person of Hegseth's stature unironically used this in a prayer.
"THEY call it CSAR 25:17", which I THINK is meant to reflect Ezekial 25:17"
He didn't misquote a damn thing. Do you know what misquoting means?
I did not say that he misquoted it.
I said that the prayer is derived from a Bible verse that was misquoted in Pulp Fiction, which it clearly is.
So I guess our pilots embarrassed themselves too since they literally call it CSAR 25:17
I think it plays differently coming from a pilot than a cabinet member.
So you are changing your argument because you know that he was not nor ever claimed to be quoting a bible verse? Which was very clear in the video you posted in the OP.
You do know than most prayers are not direct quotes from Bible verses right? If that's not obvious enough, the Sec made it clear he was no quoting the Bible in the video posted.
So what exactly are we supposed to be outraged with here?
Is there evidence that Combat Search and Rescue didn't say this before their mission? I think I could get behind criticizing this if it comes to light they didn't say this before their mission.
If CSAR did say this as a prayer, Do you want us to be mad at CSAR for misquoting scripture for their own ends? If you do, I have some news for you about Abe Lincoln and the Gettysburg Address.
