Turns out the story of the year was just...made up. and it gets worse.

- John Doe is Chirayu Rana, 35, now a principal at Bregal Sagemount. he left JPMorgan and went straight to private equity.

- The whole "threaten his bonus" premise collapsed. Hajdini reported to a completely different managing director than Rana. she had no say over his compensation.

- JPMorgan pulled phone records, reviewed emails, interviewed the full team. found nothing. Rana even refused to participate in his own investigation.

- A colleague described Rana as "socially awkward" but someone who "met the requirements" to stay at the bank.

- Before any lawsuit, he tried to negotiate a payout in the "millions" to leave the bank quietly. they didn't bite.

- He filed court filing, then his lawyers retracted it for "corrections" and deleted it. But the Daily Mail already ran the whole thing and the rest twitter did its thing.

so he tried to get paid, didn't, then filed a now-retracted complaint against someone who couldn't touch his bonus. wild.

The dude didn't even play basketball in college. He was a bench warmer on the soccer team.

Alarm bells should have been going off in the head of whoever the writer is at the sun who decided this was newsworthy whenever he said he'd been drugged multiple times. You know when you've been drugged, you don't fall for it again like that. Saying he was drugged with viagra is just icing on the cake. But hey I guess their site got some traffic.

So obviously this was a play to try to get the bank to just throw money at him so this would go away.

But why did he pick her? Vendetta against her at work?

And to give such WILD stories about it? Why not make it halfway believable?


My thoughts are he picked her in particular because either a) he had an affair with her and she ended it, but he caught feelings. So now he's gone off the deep end or b) she outright rebuffed his advances and his ego couldn't take it.

pretty sure she is a senior Bank executive not a financial advisor

although at this point she should become an "independent contractor"

Women are not men, everything you said applies to men only. Every woman secretly wants to be viewed as attractive and as a sexual object. It's literally built into their DNA for them to want this. It's why so many get oneshotted by social media validation loops.

All of this attention is likely having the same effect as crack on her. It's 100% going to make her think she's hot no matter what she says.

You're trying to give her male qualities and personality characteristics, stop doing that.

She won't get anywhere suing the media they were reporting details directly from a lawsuit filed with the court. I imagine she will sue Rana if she is 100% clean.
