A little over a week ago, Scott Baio, who left California for Florida, was on Fox. And I agreed then with what he said:

The voting is absolutely fraudulent here in California. There is absolutely no way to ensure the security of the vote with tens of millions of mail-in ballots that anyone can intercept and harvest. Our son moved away 6 years ago, and the state was notified. Yet, we still get a mail-in ballot for him for every election.

Shame on the republican congress for not getting the Save Act done. We desperately need some federal intervention in the California election process.

I remember during the Obama administration the justice department civil rights division would always show up to any contested elections. I'm no expert, but shouldn't this be a case where Spencer Pratt and anyone who voted for him civil rights have been violated?

It's also a basic misunderstanding that voting precincts are monolithic and then trying to apply statistics to that to show the high improbability.
Pratt is a Republican running in a very large deep blue liberal city in an off-year election when the President has very low approval ratings. Why would anyone expect some kind of an upset here? It's just the opposite side of the horseshoe thinking that Talarico is going to beat Paxton.

Because if things are bad enough locally, which they are in LA, given viral messaging, an outsider can gain momentum. There is no doubt Pratt gained momentum. It's nothing like believing Talarico has a chance to beat Paxton. There is no extreme local crisis in play in Texas like there is in LA

He gained so much momentum that he's going to end up doing about as well as Trump did in 2024. Maybe he didn't gain as much momentum as people thought. Granted, his messaging was very good, and he ran about as good a campaign as could be done. But it will end up not mattering because it's damn near impossible to overcome a +50 lead. I still can't believe Spencer Pratt was even on the ballot much less in the mix at one point. The guy was one of the most reviled reality tv d-bags of all time and then vanished for years as a sort of F grade Instagram influencer. He has been laying around his apartment since he turned 18.

Herschel Walker, Mehmet Oz, Madison Cawthorn, JR Majewski, Roy Moore and now this clown of a dude. Trump picks some very odd hills to die on.
