But how else are they supposed to "protect democracy" if they can't disallow showing an ID, if they don't mass mail out ballots to 100% of outdated registration rolls without request, if they can't disallow signature verification on mailed in ballots, and if they can't disregard post dates on returned ballots for a week after the election?

Obviously there's no chance of fraud and it's totally secure because you can't prove the fraud!!

Next thing you know, people will be against wide open borders and mass unfettered migration from the third world to the detriment of citizens' safety and economic and infrastructure impacts on everyone. Insanity. To be clear, a voter can submit their vote and have it arrive up to 22 days after Election Day and still be counted. That's why finding out the results with this are going to take forever. They passed a bill recently that decreased it from 26 days to 22 days to speed things up which obviously that was virtue signaling legislation to just tell people they "improved" the process. There is zero difference between taking 26 days and 22 days to count votes in an election. Both are absurd and destroy election integrity.

I'm only pointing this out because I keep seeing they get to this for a week after the election. No, it's 2-3 weeks. Thus, we are on day 5 after the election and have 17 more days for them to count ballots. In all likelihood, they will know enough before then to make a call, or will just lie and make a call to prevent Pratt from making the runoff.

It's 22 days which is a worthless "improvement" from 26 days.

Completely absurd in a first world country. If your vote hasn't arrived by voting day, then it shouldn't count as a first step. Shouldn't have mail-in voting anyway unless you are military stationed out of country.

I have said it countless times. No one in their right mind sends cash in the mail because it is so unsecure. Even the post office will tell you that. Yet we are supposed to trust that same unsecure system with our democratic process.

I'm living proof of this. Late last year during the rush and stress of Christmas and being highly distracted with a bunch of other life crap going on, I stupidly put a check in the mail to pay for one of our home insurance policies. I haven't put a check in the mail in probably 20 years, but did this time. I pay everything online but for some damn reason didn't with this one.

Yep, you guessed it. It was taken out of circulation at the Post Office, opened, washed, and cashed. Thankfully, Fidelity customer service is pretty elite and they fixed it very rapidly within a few weeks and reimbursed me.

Literally the one time I've put a check in the mail in two decades and it was stolen. But voting by mail totally secure!

Just sitting down to watch MTP this morning, gives me something to look forward to.
